A list of puns related to "Emasculate"
I kinda in a friendly way "wrestled" with a friend of mine who is smaller than me and I feel like I embarrassed and emasculated him a bit. What do I do? the funny part is that I have feelings for him. What the actual fuck is wrong with me?
π¨π¨π¨EDIT
So in the beginning of our relationship, my ways were a bit of a culture shock for him but he was open and willing to learn to be an equal partner. Which he was definitely trying to step away from the way he was raised to be a better person. It wasnβt until after our wedding things he starting acting this ways.
So I sat him down and spoke to him about his actions and how they needed to change or it would be the end of our marriage.
He confessed to me that at his Bux night they were all given nicknames/code names. He was given the βMPβ which he was told stood for Master βhis nameβ. After the wedding and around the time his misogynistic bullshit started he made a joke about it and his best friend (and best man of our wedding) admitted his dad chose MP and said to stood for βMan Purseβ because he wasnβt a real man and just and accessory in my life and that he was basically marrying off a disagree and getting a SIL. Given his upbringing and need to get approval from his dad etc he took great offence to these comments and made a bunch of relationship damaging choices.
We have decided to:
I am giving him 6 months to show me heβs willing to be the person he was before this event or I would be starting the processes of separation. He understands he has severely damaged our relationship and takes full responsibility for that. So only time will tell.
Thank you for all your comments and support.

Sorry for the long post!
For context, I was raised by my single father. He raised me to be totally self serving, where I learn not only to cook, clean etc but to be my own βhandy manβ. This has lead me to being very independent especially around my house. My husband on the other hand was raised to expect everything done for him and never really learn any self sustaining skills. But also raised to believe that the male is always right.
Fast forward to last week, I needed to buy a new line trimmer as my old faithful finally gave up on life. I was busy with the kids and my husband said he would go pick it up for me. I told him which one I wanted and what brand all my power tools are. He said he understood but when he came back, he had purchased one from a different brand. When I asked about it he said he thought it was better and it was also cheaper than the
... keep reading on reddit β‘I posted recently about having trouble reaching climax with PIV stuff alone and decided to bring it up to my [22F] boyfriend [23M], hoping to spark conversation about different positions, toys, foreplay, etc.. He seems open to trying new things, but heβs kind of shut down the idea of me using a vibrator before, during, or after sex. Says he would rather go down on me for an hour than have me use a toy.
In so many words, heβs said itβs intimidating/emasculating and the sound of the vibrator just throws him offβmakes him feel like heβs not pleasing me. I donβt want to be insensitive and force vibrators to be a part of anything if he doesnβt want it (particularly when heβs offered an alternative), but Iβm also thinking, practically, we wonβt always have the time or energy to be getting me to cum in an hour. I would much rather touch myself than frustrate both of us trying to get me thereβeven if heβs willingβbut he doesnβt like the idea of me masturbating in general, so it feels like weβre at an impasse.
The two words seemingly have a discrepancy, with "emasculate" meaning "unmasculine" and "effeminate" meaning "feminine"- so one of them being an antonym, and the other a synonym for their respective root words, despite sharing the same prefix.
In reality: emasculate : e- + masculus from Δ- as in away, effeminate: ef- + femina from ef- as in change of state. Both originally from ex-.
Looked it up because I was interested where the discrepancy comes from. Hope it hasn't been posted before.
effeminate
>(often derogatory, of a man or boy) Exhibiting behaviour or mannerisms considered typical of a female; unmasculine.
emasculate
> Deprived of virility or vigor; unmanned, weak.
I would expect them to be antonyms but they are synonyms based on the definitions. Wouldn't effeminate describe someone who is lacking femininity rather than lacking masculinity?
Are there any terms that describe the feeling of having oneβs womanhood stripped away? Something similar to βto defeminizeβ.
I have noticed have many different cultures in essos seem to be emasculated compared to those of westeros. Some examples are Most wars are fought with sellswords and cities pay off the Dothraki to leave them alone
The perfume that the ghiscari use. Both Danerys and Selmy note how its not βmanlyβ for a man to smell like that
The way the qartheen are seen as cowards and how their crying makes them less manly
How the Tyroshi are too falshy with their jewelry
How the Tywin refers to the lords of the free cities
What do you guys think?
I hope everyday he thanks the dark father for allowing him to experience the glorious freedom that one can only enjoy in our blessed dub.
