A list of puns related to "Ecn"
Signed up for Nancy Roberts' ECN 212 class this semester but looking into switching to Girante's hybrid course instead. Does anyone have any personal experience taking Roberts or Girante's class? I'm reading their reviews on Rate My Professor and I'm pretty worried. Any info would help!
TLDR: Is 22 too old for applying to major circus schools?
Sorry if this question gets asked a lot on this sub haha
I'm currently 21f and I plan on applying next year as a 22 year old to LOTS of circus schools, meaning I would be 23 when I actually start the program. Will my age be serious limiting factor for me getting into programs like ECN and the like? I've heard 25+ is considered pretty old to start circus school and that some schools won't let you in because of that.
My general profile:
I have intermediate tumbling (back tuck, roundoff-BHS, front HS, front punch, aerials, etc) and decent flexibility (over splits , full pancake, used to have good back bending but recovering from pinched nerve in lower back rn :/ ) and strength (can legless climb 30 ft, meathooks, working on reverse meathooks, pistol squats).
I also have solid experience in performing with aerial; I've been doing it for the past 10 years and I'd say I have decently advanced skills for lyra (straddle cut catch w/ both hands together, knee beat twist release and catch, all the rolls) and I've done silks too for the past 10 years. I'm also working on hand balancing right now (currently holding at around 30 seconds, comfortable switching shapes, have press to handstand).
As far as other skills I can juggle 3 and 4 balls and have some cigar boxes experience. I am taking dance classes now to help with my movement in performance.
I'm realistic that the upper tier schools are very competitive so I'm applying to a wide range of programs, including 2 year programs in the US to international 3 year circus schools
Do you guys think I'll be able to get into any of these programs? And if I do will I be the oldest student in my class by far? What's the average age range? I appreciate all feedback.
I know its "never too late" but I appreciate the hard truth
Recently I moved from TradeZero to CMEG, super happy with being able to use Stirling over TZs in-house platform + super fast executions and direct routing ftw.
However, yesterday I made $405 profit (small account just getting used to new platform etc). Commissions were $153 and ECN fees were $96. After a few other smaller fees I was left with $153 profit, from $405.
This does not seems sustainable. Any suggestions? Or for a small account do I need to be using a lower fee platform like IB and put up with a less than ideal trading platform and smart routing? TIA
I have enough seed capital to not want to mess with margin at all. Does anyone here know of anything that fits that criteria?
How similar are these classes? I took 212 in the fall and did fairly well.
I’m asking because I wasn’t able to get a good professor for my spring class of 211 and a lot of the reviews on rate my professor are saying people had to teach themself...
How much of the material in these classes inter mingle?
Anyone know where I can get the ECN 511 textbook for free or close to it? It’s only an elective with a $70+ textbook😩

Merci :)
I am taking a mathematical economics class and was wondering if there are any math friends that know optimization theory. Professor is a great guy, but his intellect is far superior to mine. Need help with HW, willing to pay $ for some knowledge.
If i take ECN 001AY instead of ECN 001, will it still meet the Man Econ major requirements? ECN 001AY is a hybrid class with a better instructor, so that's why I would like to take it. Please let me know if I can take the hybrid course for both micro and macroeconomics.
Has anyone taken ECN 506 with Natasha before or is taking it now ?

I've been experimenting with ECN-2 development lately, and I've read how some people just source the raw chemicals themselves and mix it all at home, making it cheaper than C-41 in the long run. This is an example of the recipe.
Has anyone in Canada done this? I'm not sure how possible it is to source everything necessary, but I'd like to give it a try (And don't hit me with an answer like "it's a waste of time don't bother", I'm fully aware, I just wanna see if it's possible and if anyone's done it).
I always like to do those ECN alerts and get a quick 10,000-20,000 credits. Recently, I will destroy one ship and then no others will spawn. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there anyway to refresh the mission?
Do you know where I can find the bibliography for ECN (the residency exam in France)? I'd like to take the exam in 2023 but I have know idea where to study from.
Thank you all
I'm taking Game Theory with Schipper next quarter, what can I expect in terms of workload, difficulty etc. I'm already taking 2 CS classes and might take Bio and UWP. I don't anticipate UWP to be too hard and my CS elective is the ethics class so would taking ECN 122 be impossible with this schedule?
Title basically.
I'm in France and I take my film to someone who send them to a kodak lab in belgium to develop. I asked the place where I take them if they know if they still do ECN-2 but they don't know.
Anyone knows if they still do ? Thanks !
