A list of puns related to "Dingolfing"
Hi! I (26F) am moving to Dingolfing (84130) to be with my partner and would love to know if there are people in this sub around that area willing to have contact. I am very nervous since I come from a very big, quite liberal city in The Netherlands and am not used to "small" village life. Could use any and all the tips/help I can get to adjust! Language is coming along OK, just not good enough yet to be fully confident about it. Despite being nervous I am also superexcited and can't wait to drink liters of Spezi, take amazing hikes and eat tons of Brezn!
Unfortunately I had covid in april and am still having lasting effects from it, so does anyone have any tips for activities where I could meet people that don't include a lot of physical activity/sports? Driving to a bigger city in the vicinity like Regensburg, Landshut or Straubing is no problem.
TIA! I really appreciate it.
Hey guys! I would be coming to Dingolfing for an internship at BMW AG. For that, I am looking for an apartment from mid-August onwards...can anyone help me out in this? I'd be really thankful to you!
Amen
Bin ich der einzige der sich fragt warum es in jedem Kaff eine Shishabar gibt aber nicht in Dingolfing? Die Anzeige beim neuen Bürgermeister ist bald raus!
Hi everyone!
I moved from Croatia to Bavaria 1,5 years ago and finally got the time and means to bring over my moped. We're heading down in a month to pick it up and I'll post pics of the whole ordeal of bringing it up and actually trying to get it approved for license plates. For now I'm wondering if there are any moped riders in the Dingolfing-Landau area. I've seen a lot of Vespas, Simpsons and Sachs mopeds on the streets durring summer, so I'd be happy to go for a ride when the beast comes over.

I've been living in Dingolfing for 3 years now and been working in the automotive industry as a quality inspector. However, since I graduated from a university last year I'd like to start working in a more ambitious environment (preferably office or home-office) and accordingly to my education. I ended up English studies in Poland (M.A.) and can work elsewhere where English is needed (communication with customers, writing, editing, reviewing texts etc.). I already sent c.a. 100 CVs, however, in most cases there's no response and when there's one it's rejection due to non-relevant work experience. My German is B1-B2 and I still improve it in my free time. I also have a car and can commute even to Munich. At the moment I feel like stuck in a hole and don't know what to do to start my career so any help would be appreciated. Schönen Tag noch! ☺️

Here's a screenshot of the splits NRC recorded.
Woke up on race day at my grandma's place. She has cats and I'm allergic so I woke up feeling ill. Went to the bathroom and found out I had diarrhea as well. Nice. Took meds against these issues. Hydrated and ate, race starts at 3pm so plenty of time for everything. Drove to the race track a little to late and ended up far back in the crowd.
It's my first marathon so I try to take it easy in the beginning. Well due to tons of people in front of me my first km is the slowest in my entire race. (Look at my splits screenshot) Have to overtake lots of people but still have trouble to run my pace.
After a while the field clears up and I can run faster. A little to fast, I think. Somehow I manage to keep that pace though and decide to give everything and set myself the goal of sub 1:45. Also my pace gets really steady, I don't know how I did that. I stop at the aid stations every time and also eat a gel after around 12km.
The last of the four laps is the hardest but I have enough energy left on the last km to sprint to and across the finish line (fastest km). End time is a little over 1:45. I think I could have reached sub 1:45 without the crowded, slow first kilometer.
I drink and eat a lot in the finishing area. Take my time as I have a hard time keeping up my circulation after this race. Return the time chip (fuck that, I want bibs included in my number) and drive home.
There I suddenly get really sick and a strong headache. Few minutes later I throw up all the stuff I consumed after the race. Lesson learned, take your time and eat and drink slowly and not to much after a race.
Also I manage to be first in my age group (under 20 years). Nice, well till I find out that there's only one other person in that age group. This meme describes it perfectly. Anyways, I get a training bag as a price so that's nice.
All in all it was a nice race and I'm happy with my results. Definitely will run halfs again, maybe even a full marathon in the future. Thanks for sticking around and reading this race report. Keep on running fo
