A list of puns related to "Digital Rights"
I'm from Ghana, an African country where the government is trying to impose an e-levy which would be a 1.75% charge on all electronic transactions covering mobile money payments, bank transfers, merchant payments, and inward remittances to be borne by the sender except inward remittances, which will be borne by the recipient.
*The object of this Bill is to impose a levy to be known as the Electronic Transfer Levy and to provide for related matters. Out of about 18 million potential taxpayers only 2.4 million persons (approximately 8% of the total population) were registered as personal income tax payers as at August, 2021: 45,109 entities were registered as corporate taxpayers while 54,364 persons were registered as self-employed taxpayers. Recent economic data further suggests that the overall tax to GDP for SSA in 2018 was 16.5%, while the tax to GDP for Ghana in 2019 was estimated to be 12.2% which is one of the lowest among our peer middle income countries. Digital transactions have experienced steady growth over the past five years. Between 2017 to 2021, mobile money transactions increased from Ghc155million to 986million in Ghana. More importantly, the convenience of the platform has created efficiencies and enhanced productivity. This expansion in mobile money transactions has supported growth in e-commerce, social media shopping and the use of digital payments. This expansion, while positive for financial inclusion and economic growth, also presents an opportunity to extend government's ability to mobilise tax revenue. Digital payment systems are currently largely untaxed, and while the industry grows, several government tax revenue sources are experiencing a decline in growth. Revenue sources like VAT and NI-IIL are directly impacted by the increasing use of digital payment systems which facilitate alternative shopping avenues that do not apply the said taxes. Government is determined to take the needed steps to steadily improve on domestic resources mobilization and strengthen GRAS competence in electronic tax handles without compromising its pro-poor interventions. The Levy is a key mechanism that the Government of Ghana will use to help ensure that more Ghanaians and the public contribute their fair share towards the development of our country. It will be used to tackle the intractable problems of rising debt, high youth unemployment, inadequate

Just letting anyone know whos interested in this game.
Hey guys!
I know it's a sensitive topic at times here, but i have to ask...
I've been stuck in cold europe, working remotely and feeling isolated for far to long; so from March to June I'm looking for an escapade.
I've been to Bali before covid as a traveler and enjoyed it so was thinking to go back...
But for those there, nomads or expats, how's the vibe right now?
Im just looking for some warmth and cool normal people to connect with - both foreigner and local.
Any insight you guys have, i would be very grateful for!
Thank you!
The short story is Dear Amazon Kindle users be wary. Your electronic rights are only five years and after that you have no right of access to THEIR books.
The long story and a rabbit hole of frustration for you fine peeps will be an image in the comments I received when I tried to open my books several months ago. I donβt mess with my devices and so such messages just seem bizarre. Iβm not sure what I did back then but Iβm sure I did a lot of personal trouble shooting including removing devices and reinstalling. When I exhausted myself I contacted Amazon Customer service both online chat then in person. This was a long process of jumping through hoops and basically rolling out all possibilities (including what I did) and saying it was my fault for deleting the books. I can guarantee I never did before seeing the image in the comments. The image that prevents access to the books. An image I see again which I have touched NOTHING with any of my devices nor added any new devices. Nothing has changed except time itself.
Now I got the message for a very expensive scholar book and I have no reason to believe contacting them will come with any different result than last time. That is unless some of you people have some insight you can give me.
Also, it would be great if you have insight to prevent these messages. I sincerely have no idea why they are coming up. If I am being treated normal then Kindle as business would drop off tremendously. It is ridiculous.
The Great Reset. A globalist wetdream aiming to make us "own nothing and be happy". This will be accomplished through the manufactured collapse of the economy and the society. It is, in essence, the plan for a new world, or one world currency, and thus one world government.
To reset the global economy, collapse the dollar, the prominent reserve currency. It's not overly difficult at this point. A single Cyber Pandemic would be more than enough.
Who is backing the Great Reset? The World Economic Forum. Here is their report on CBDCs. Digital Currency Governance Consortium White Paper Series. This was published November 19! of this year, 2021.
Be aware, cautious, and keep on stacking, my glorious apes!

And here is WEF Founder, Klaus Schwab's book, Covid-19 and the Great Reset written amidst the pandemic in 2020.

I make art installations that use Windows 10 PCs and games made in Unity 3D.
Think museums or art galleries. Think of installations using cameras, projectors, and screen displaying augmented reality type interactions. They are often one-of-a-kind and vary in complexity and compute needs.
I often encounter bottlenecks in terms of frame rate when it comes to running at higher resolution or increasing the amount of game objects, polygons, etc. I know a large path to better performance can be code optimization but for the sake of the argument let us imagine that aspect is pretty optimized already.
As a novice hardware person I sometimes think when building a computer for one of these installations that "the more expensive the components the faster and smoother the installation will run".
However, I know that may not always be the case.
For instance, what if the code was only able to make use of 16 GB of memory and therefore installing 64 GB would not yield a better performance? Is there such a limit? How would I know and increase it?
Same with the number of cores in the CPU and perhaps the GPU as well. Are there limits or diminishing returns in those specs for making games in Unity 3D?
In general how can I more effectively match the right specs of the machine to the Unity 3D game I am making?
Is it entirely dependent on the code used?
Or, are there some specifications it would be safe to max out to achieve the best resolution, frame rate, etc?
Take for example this computer by OnLogic. I like using them because they are reliable, easy to configure, and aren't massive. This Helix 600 could be a good reference point. Note all the available CPU options. Is the most expensive the best generally?
Thank you for any tips or help better understanding what I need to know.
