A list of puns related to "Digital Product Design"
Has anyone done this program? Was it worthwhile? Any tips for application portfolio?
Hi! I am interested in products and I am wondering did anyone take one of those courses?
What would be the key difference between those product courses or what is your experience on taking one/both of them?
Thank you so much!!
Besides, just wanna make sure could I join the Freshmen project team if I am not a freshman?
hey everyone, I'm a Senior Product Designer at a Design Agency. I'm thinking of starting a Youtube channel about product design that goes over managing product design projects, UI design, UX design and etc in a very practical way.
What type of topics would you like to see covered or what are some topics you look for but can never find quality content on? Feedback is greatly appreciated :)
I'm an automotive Hardware Design Engineer with 4 years of experience. My background is designing low-speed embedded electronics (uC, CAN, SPI, I2C, LIN) and occasional power electronics (buck, boost, flyback) for ECUs in EVs/HEVs.
I've never laid out a board that's been used in a mass-market consumer electronics product. I feel like I need to branch out more and learn about the challenges related to high-speed digital interfaces, board stack-up, PCB materials, high pin count BGAs, etc.
I'm more than willing to pay for a course that can cover these topics.
Hi everyone! Iβm looking into the digital product design program as an option for next fall. I finished my architecture/design degree this year and looking to move into UX/UI design. I canβt find much information on this course nor anyone who has finished the program. Anyone out there who can share their experience in the program and or after it ?
Thank you :)
I just got an admit in this program and since I am an international student I don't want to make a huge investment before knowing more about it. Are there any existing students or alumni who can share their experiences? Or suggest other courses that might be equally good or better for UI UX Design in Canada (a lot of colleges and universities still have admissions open, and I'd like to try and apply.) Thank you!
^ Title. Is there any way to do this through Webnode itself? If not, can I set up an external order gateway with PayPal or something?
We're drowning in information. Anywhere we look to, there is a product or person trying to teach you something, to make your life easier, to solve problems for you, to connect you, and so on. We don't need more comfort, we don't need more information, we don't need our problems solved for us, we don't need more products. What we need is time, focus, challenge, meaning, solitude, drive, individuality, real life, and real people... and most digital products literally provide the opposite of it, or lead ourselves away from it.
People are taking the tools for the real things. Technology for technology's sake, and this is making the world a lot more confusing, shallow, and noisy. Neil Postman used to say that there should be a criterion for the adoption of any technology and that criterion was exactly which problem the technology solves, but most products I see nowadays are just pretending to solve problems and creating thousands of other problems as a consequence.
I'm a digital product designer in the making, switched from web design not so long ago. Currently, I'm working with a company that creates an educational platform for creatives with some social media elements, and we're designing it from scratch.
I'm looking for a resource with screenshots from various digital products sorted by categories, e.g., dashboard, post editing, checkout, etc. I spent like 40% of my work time researching various products for references as a web designer, and I believe this will help me work faster and smarter as a product designer.
The problem is, I'm struggling with finding any good resources for references, dedicated to digital products specifically. It was not an issue when you design a landing page, and there are a dozen sites such as Lapa, Land-book, Awwwards, etc. But for products, Dribbble seems the only option so far, and looking for an inspiration for realistic product design sometimes can be challenging there.
The only resource matching my requests was Nicely Done, but it's ridiculously limited for non-paying users and its pricing feels shady (refunds within 24 hours after purchase only, no monthly plans or trials, quarterly billing minimum). Other options such as Mobbin are suited for mobile interfaces only.
Will be thankful for any resources or leads.
Hello, everyone. I have applied to Sheridan's Digital Product Design program and one of the essential requirements is a portfolio submission. I am not from design background, therefore, I do not have any kind of a portfolio to show. But, I am enrolled in Google's UX Certificate course, and apart from that I have attended a couple of workshops for UI design.
What can I do here?
Hi lovely designers! βοΈ
My freelance business has really escalated into actually becoming a serious thing. In order to improve my processes and systems I am looking for a designer who is familiar in designing/ redesigning and rebuilding websites and digital products.
I also would like someone who is either a native English speaker or good enough at listening enough to the point where you can obtain information about what clients need and deliver designs from writeups/meetings.
I'm honestly not looking for a person who wants a one-time project and move on, I'm looking for a business partner who is confident at what they do as many projects will be coming your way if you fit that. I will secure a constant dealflow.
Please send in any relevant work or portfolio to inquire and your timezone would be very useful too.
android is already cool. I canβt decide which one to take next semester
which one would you take and why?
