Is anyone here part of Sigma Phi Delta (Engineering and Computer Science fraternity) at UMD? If so, what are the requirements to join (besides being a CS or engineering major)? How much are the fees? Is being part of a frat worth it at UMD? I was considering joining so I can have a group of friends because it seems like everyone else has their own friend group.

Question: if it's common knowledge that the APD frat drugs their juice, then has anyone actually reported them to the university for misconduct? & can just anyone report them based on hearsay, or does it have to be someone who personally saw it happen/experienced it?
I'm really just asking because an old post made it seem like a lot of ppl in this sub know drugging isn't an rare thing at APD parties and I wanted to follow up & see if anything came of it

First of all these ass clowns are throwing parties during a PANDEMIC. Secondly they beat a black student for showing up to their party. Clearly a ton of ADP members signed up for reddit cause the other threads are covered with different stories trying to cause confusion and delegitimize this problem. They all claim they are not racist and it is not a hate crime. Why did they only attack the black guy? How many members of ADP are minorities? If UConn really stands for BLM then they would do something about this racist fraternity and not just "re-educate" them. Lets not forget ZBT and Fiji were recently expelled for much less. Not that hazing is ok but ADP definitely hazes and also COMMITS HATE CRIMES, PHYSICAL VIOLENCE, AND HAS PARTIES DURING A PANDEMIC.

Hi everybody, We the brothers of Delta Phi have created a brief biography of RPI and Delta Phi alumnus George M. Low, for whom the Low Center for Industrial Innovation is named. Nationally, he is known as the "original moon zealot" and helped to foster the success of the Gemini, Mercury, and Apollo (Moon) Missions. When he returned to RPI and became the 14th President of the Institute (1976-1984), he established many new collaborative research centers (a few of which are still housed in the CII).
