A list of puns related to "Cronin"
"seeing KJ score, I was like ‘OK – cool.’ It’s all good, as long as we scored, as long as we have it won, it’s all good. I’m not really trippin’, I’ll just try to get it another time."

I'll try to summarize the interesting parts of the presser for anyone that didn't get an opportunity to watch it. I'm not putting these in order, I'll put the most interesting notes at the top and everything else below that.
** these quotes are notes I took during the presser and aren't direct quotes.

"How much authority do you have as interim and do you know how long you have?"
Cronin: "Ownership has been upfront with me and said they believe in and trust me to run this organization. They haven't made any declarations aside from this being a good opportunity for me to prove myself. I'm not too worried about all that, I want to put us in a spot to succeed"

"If a team were to call with an offer for signification rotational player, do you have the authority to make that deal?"
Cronin: "For most GMs, you field your calls and get your team to the point where both teams agree and then it goes to ownership for a final approval where we can submit our recommendations. I can get the deal to the one yard line and bring it to Jody and Bert for approval."

**"**What is the communication like with Dame and CJ on the future of the team/org?"
Cronin: "I've had really good sit downs with both of them and have been really encourage by their feedback and the feedback from a lot of the players."
"The all really like Chauncey and his staff and believe in them. That's something we can build off of."
"We know we need to do something with the roster and we will" - direct quote

"How would you assess the teams cap flexibility and how that can help you make deals?"
Cronin: "we don't have any negative money or bad money contracts like we have in the past"
"our books are clean as far as our ability to transact and be creative - I feel good about our cap situation - previous years weren't as easy as we didn't have a lot of avenues but we see some light at the end of the tunnel and we're happy with the contracts we have"

"How much urgency do you feel to get to the table (in regards to transactions and roster construction)"
Cronin: "I want to be patient in making decisions. It's more abou
... keep reading on reddit ➡I know it's rather fun to think who the next GM will be and deliberate what kind of trades they could make or think about how they would want to sculpt the Portland Trail Blazer organization of the future. I don't know if any of the candidates really sparks a twinkle in my eye. Tayshaun Prince, Marc Eversley and Scott Perry all seem to be in it with their current organizations:
These guys seem like hires you would pursue after the season, and the Blazers need to make moves during the season. Not quite yet, but before the trade deadline, surely. So I pose to you the simple question: What if we just stuck with Joe Cronin?
He's got the scouting pedigree, he's a renowned capologist, and he's been with the organization for a long time. He was a part of Buchanan's interim FO that secured the pick for Dame. He's been here since just after the 25 Point Pledge that refocused the team on a character standpoint, and he's seen the ups-and-downs, opportunities and limitations of working within the organization.
What's stopping Jody from saying: "okay, Joe, do what you gotta do to make one last shot with Dame work and then we'll figure out the rebuild." Is the perfect candidate already in place and do we just refuse to see it?
I was listening to Matthew Coller's podcast, and Courtney said something very interesting just short of the 28 minute mark.
She stated that in the 2nd half, Klint had someone helping call plays and that "those who know, know." Any speculation on who this would be?
Zim? Other member of the offensive staff? Gary? Someone else?

The post game interviews with Nurk and Chauncey are worth a watch from last night.
Mainly Chauncey being asked by a reporter what the future looks like and what communication he and Joe Cronin have had and what it was about.
Chauncey said they have talked a lot and 'you can imagine the nature of it, our team' and he goes on to say that he believes he and Joe will be synced up on what they are looking for in the future.
Obviously this doesn't mean there will be a move soon, or that Joe will even be making it but it certainly feels good to hear that our Chauncey and Joe are already talking about it before a new hire is for sure taking place. Joe and Jody seem to have a good relationship and Joe has been with our franchise for a long time and is well regarded as a scout/capologist.
Change is coming, we just don't know when. I trust Chauncey to put together a team of hard working guys so at least we will begin to develop some sort of identity beyond hoping we make more shots than the other team.
Nurk's interview is not as interesting but he did give a lot of props to DSJ and said he should be playing more every night. Read into that what you will.
With Britney now out of her awful situation, and all of the media hype around it, and all of the hype that will follow as we learn more about what her father did, and she is able to tell her own story- the Q people using this to their advantage and trying to pill people. This is particularly dangerous because a lot of younger people love Britney and will be susceptible to be swallowed up by Q. These people are not usual targets of Q, so this is an entire new crop of people for them to potentially get on their side.
Slave Princess, a documentary by notorious Q research Liz Cronin, is a mini red pill for Britney supporters. The main thesis of the doc is that Britney was trafficked by Hollywood elites (sound familiar?), and if the media got this so wrong what else are they hiding? This doc also allows Liz to get back on Twitter through the SlavePrincess handle, as she was kicked off Twitter in 2018 I believe.
She is very crafty and smart- they never once mention Q, pizzagate (which Liz was famous for promoting years ago), JFK jr- none of it. It’s only purpose is to sew doubt in the minds of Britney fans, to unlock their minds just that little bit so that Q ideas don’t seem so wild after all. They put what happened to Britney in an adjacent position to their Q beliefs, and Britney all of a sudden is a survivor and a real person they can point to, now it’s all real, we have a real life example.
I learned this from the Qanon anonymous podcast, their most recent patron only episode, episode 148. It’s behind a paywall, but people need to know that this is happening.
