I was one of the earliest users of shapeshift because it was awesome. No account needed. Click the coin you have, click the coin you want. Send and receive. So fast, so convenient and no accounts or KYC bullshit needed. Sure you are paying a fee for it but lots of times it was not that much more expensive then an exchange like Binance.

You might have heard about Andreas Brekken through shitcoin.com which use to be a very popular review sites of cryptocurrencies.
Every couple of weeks there was an in depth review of the newest blockchain. Ripple, Tron, etc etc.
So when he launched sideshift not only was I one of the first users. I also interviewed Andreas about it.
He then told me about their referral program and that I should help promote their website. His words were: This will turn in to lifelong passive income for you, you should really get in on it.
So for about the next 6 months I would share my sideshift referral link here and there. On facebook, on reddit, on twitter. This was in 2019, about 2 years ago. For about 6 months I spend perhaps 2 hours a week on this.

But will it register continuous motion? Because something that I DONT want is the lights to go off after 3mins while I’m cooking so I need to start jumping and waving my hands in order to switch the lights back on.
In node red I solved this issue in the past using a timer which would reset its self as soon as it receives the same message again, before sending the signal to turn off a light. My goal is to reduce node red, home assistant, Conbee, docker and all the other crap stuff that constantly needs my attention. The Shelly stand-alone solution seems to meet my needs, so far.
Hi all, need some direction please. Home Assistant. Motion sensor automation turns on the lights when motion is detected, waits for 5 mins, and turns off the lights. (it's more complicated than that, but this use case is the simplest to explain).
Automation mode is set to "restart". I'm using a state trigger on the binary sensor for my security cameras for motion detection which have only an on/off state. This is great when there is a gap in motion and the state falls back to "off" , and then is retriggered.
But if there is truly continuous motion over the duration the lights are on, the state does not revert to "off" and then does not start the automation again and the lights turn off after 5 mins. What is the best/most efficient way to ensure the automation keeps being triggered?
Before installing a microSD I used to get a timeline of motion detections like "pet" or "human" when I clicked on the view playback button. After installing SD and turning on continuous recording I no longer see my event timeline.
Is it possible to see both options?
I am new to security cameras. I have the 2K Tilt and Pan camera with 128GB card.
I was wondering if setting it on continuous recording brings some benefits? What could be missed if it is on motion detection mode?

I said the answer was 'A. rack and pinion' but the book said the answer was wrong and that the correct answer is 'B. cam and follower'.
I think this is completely wrong simply because if you google 'rack and pinion gear' the exact look of the gear is what the question is asking for.
Am I right or wrong?
The book had a few confirmed incorrect answers so that's why I'm asking for someone more knowledgeable to give their input.
I don't want to study the incorrect answer.
