A list of puns related to "Conspecific Song Preference"
I choose you Iβm Still Standing by Elton John!

I wasn't much of a conventional music guy as a kid. Like till I was 12, I used to listen to insteumentals from games I played, particularly pokemon, then moved onto kingdom hearts after I heard the instrumentals of simple and clean. Soon after that I shifted to anime openings (binged Gintama ones like a doofus, yes)
And that was till I was 14. Then I started listening to Joji (I used to watch a lot of Filthy Frank but thats another story) and that got me hooked up to him. Fast forward now, Im 19 and now my music taste is pop-rock music- Arctic Monkeys/Radiohead/Queen/Beatles/TOP/TN - blah blah blah. Although I sometimes fall back into the videogame/anime osts (like some from undertale obviously)
So tell me about your music taste- over 5 years or however long you feel.

Currently listening to the Royal Albert Hall record. I love it so much and revisit it frequently. Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino is especially great, which made me appreciate the album more. Iβd say Iβd prefer it to what made the cut on that album honestly. Same with Cornerstone. Does anyone else prefer a live recording of a song compared to the studio recording?
I Wanna Boi - PWR BTTM
Any genre as long as it's good. I want to discover new songs. I ult CLC but I listened to other groups like StayC, Weekly, Exo, BTS, Twice and Red Velvet sometimes too. I like 1team great (abeit short) dicography too.
I especially would love a song recommendation that ressembles the magic of CLC's No : Girl crush, feminine & sassy, sleek production.
I'd also love boy group recommendations as I only listen to a few 3rd gen bg and that's it
The style I like the least are songs with really awkward raps. Or ateez/stray kids title track type of bombastic edm but I'm open to try (I liked God's menu and side effect, but disliked wolfgang for example).
The style I like the most is everything and anything tbh, but I like seeing Rnb in kpop songs bc I feel like very few do it.
Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well! I have another open article of the week and this time it's another one from Ecological Applications.

Abstract: Breeding dispersal, the movement from one breeding territory to another, is rare for philopatric species that evolved within relatively stable environments, such as the old-growth coniferous forests of the Pacific Northwest. Although dispersal is not inherently maladaptive, the consequences of increased dispersal on population dynamics in populations whose historical dispersal rates are low could be significant, particularly for a declining species. We examined rates and possible causes of breeding dispersal based on a sample of 4,118 northern spotted owls (Strix occidentalis caurina) monitored in seven study areas over 28 yr, 1990β2017, in Oregon and Washington, USA. Using a multistate markβresight analysis, we investigated the potential impacts of an emergent congeneric competitor (barred owl Strix varia) and forest alteration (extrinsic factors), and social and individual conditions (intrinsic factors) on 408 successive and 1,372 nonsuccessive dispersal events between years. The annual probability of breeding dispersal increased for individual owls that had also dispersed in the previous year and decreased for owls on territories with historically high levels of reproduction. Intrinsic factors including pair status, prior reproductive success, and experience at a site, were also associated with breeding dispersal movements. The percent of monitored owls dispersing each year increased from Λ7% early in the study to Λ25% at the end of the study, which coincided with a rapid increase in numbers of invasive and competitively dominant barred owls. We suggest that the results presented here can inform spotted owl conservation efforts as we identify factors contributing to changing rates of demographic parameters including site fidelity and breeding dispersal. Our study further shows that increasing rates of breeding dispersal associated with population declines contribute to population instability and vulnerability of northern spotted owls to extinction, and the prognosis is unlikely to change unless active management interventions are

Wiki Master and FUSER mainstay SheepQueen and streamer good guy Drummerboi put together this poll to gauge what people have enjoyed best from the first year of FUSER. Let them know, and I'll deliver the results back here so we can all talk about how JF was probably the only one to check off Don't Sweat the Technique but I'm not about to disrespect the God MC no matter how grating the sax gets in a different key alright?!
