Hi! I don't know much about manga or anime but my friends wanted me to enter the comiket lottery with them. I got a ticket, but they lost, and now I'm not sure what to do! I read you need proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test, but I only have my American vaccine card. If anyone is going and could explain the procedure it would be super appreciated! Also, any general tips about comiket would be great for this non-otaku haha. Thanks so much!
Update: I went and it was super fun! There was a lot of hand-made merch for my favorite videogames and I got some stuff for my friends, too. There was even a whole section of just cute handmade items! It was very easy to understand how to get around (guides everywhere) and there was plenty besides porn. For those who are thinking of going but are intimidated by gatekeepers, please do, it isn't that overwhelming unless you want to wait in line for the most popular circles from what I could tell.

I know I am. It's funny, I hadn't seen almost any news or updates on it until about a week ago, and now we are getting just a flood of EP and album announcements for C99.
I was somehow under the impression that the market wasn't very focused on the music, and the representation from musical groups would be small. Maybe in the grand scheme of things this could be true, but nonetheless I'm getting almost overwhelmed by all the music I see that is to come out on 12/31!
