A list of puns related to "Characterisation"
The quoted sections are my thoughts for how a TRoS post-credit βdlcβ could re-contextualise the trilogy as an allegory.
>Ben is awoken from a dream (that ended with his disappearance/death in TRoS) by Luke who has entered his quarters. Luke notices and they briefly discuss the dream alongside Luke saying he struggles with his own premonitions. The implication essentially being the sequel trilogy is the shared dreamlike personification of the fears and anxieties of its characters, not unlike Anakinβs dreams in the prequels.
The sequels, when viewed from the perspective of Luke, are an incarnation of his greatest fears, specifically that he will fail to live up to his fatherβs sacrifice and will abandon his friends and allies when they need him most. From Benβs perspective, it may reflect an underlying anxiety that his inability to control his emotions could lead him to the Darkside. Unlike Anakin who succumbed to the fear of his premonitions in large part due to his circumstances, Luke and Ben avoid this fate due to the healthier teachings of the reformed Jedi Order and a stronger emotional support base.
>The two could spend time reminiscing before a more sombre tone sets in for a discussion about Leiaβs funeral, essentially a tribute to Carrie Fisher. Have them leave the room to allow for a shot of them walking the halls of a new Jedi temple, with small details and callbacks to the saga. Conclude with a short dialogue-free scene of Leiaβs funeral with the other characters gathered to pay their respects.
This is not suggesting a dismissal or de-canonisation of the sequels, rather a re-contextualisation. There were a lot of ideas I liked in the trilogy, especially from TLJ, though I feel the sloppy overall execution and their disconnected nature leave a bitter taste to the ending of the Skywalker Saga, at least in my opinion. If the sequel trilogy is viewed as an interconnected allegory for the personal anxieties of its characters then the characterisation and general events of the ST could be reconciled with the idea of a timeline in which there was no major conflict following RoTJ, outside of perhaps dealing with Empire remnant states that are collectively and allegorically portrayed as the First Order; its massively fluctuating strength throughout the trilogy representative of different individual conflicts against weaker or stronger remnants.
For a further example, the trilogy from Reyβs perspective is reflective of her identity crisis follo

Before watching the show, the 'Hex before Sex' and 'Sigma male' kind of memes I came across about Viktor gave me a completely different impression of him than what I ended up seeing in the show. Maybe I'm reading too deep into memes or misunderstanding them, but I feel that some people got the impression that Viktor was a cold and calculating scientist type who didn't care about relationships when it's actually the opposite.
With Sophie entering the Dream World of Erde Wiege. This feels like a golden opportunity to flesh out Sophie`s character more in regards to her past. Here are few things I would like to see:
Characterisation:
Character Development:
Character Interactions:
That's all i could come up with, do you have any of your own characterisation, character Development, And character Interactions you want Sophie to have that I have not mentioned. write them down below in the comment section Fellow Alchemists.
In the books Ron is shown as someone who is witty, fiercely loyal, brave at most times and a well above average student almost on par with Harry even if he loves to procrastinate. The movies especially the later ones show his as a wimp and a clueless moron who is only there for comic relief for the most part. It could be due to how big a phenomenon Emma Watson became that they had to beef up her part more to sideline Ron but it really has made some of the movie parts unwatchable for me considering Ron was my favourite character from the books. I hope whenever in the future the movies/TV series is remade, they are faithful to Ron's book character.
I am not really sure how much I can elaborate beyond the title, which I think speaks for itself.
When I use the terms "badass" and "authoritative" I am thinking of the the kind of imperious attitude which would come through primarily in certain Ten and Eleven (but also some Nine and Twelve) episodes in which the Doctor emphasises how dangerous they are or speaks portentously about their own fearsome reputation, or in which the script goes out of its way to discuss how much of the universe is terrified of the Doctor. The, "I'm the Doctor. Basically, run," angle, I suppose is how I'd sum it up. Do you know what I mean?
Anyway, I was watching a couple of Classic Who serials that I haven't watched in a while recently and started thinking about this. Of course all the Doctors have a certain air of authority. But it always seems different to me in Classic Who compared to New Who.
The Seventh Doctor comes closest, but even he relies on being underestimated, on his enemies never really taking seriously the idea that the little man with an umbrella could thwart their plans. He doesn't announce, "I am the Doctor!" and the bad guys recoil in fear or anything like that.
I don't ask this question from an "in-universe" perspective. That is, I am less concerned with how the fictional experiences of the character of the Doctor justify their change in attitude. Rather, it is more of a question about the writing. To what extent was this theme added to the series after 2005, to what extent was it already present from 1963 to 1989, and what role did wilderness years material in general and probably the VNAs in particular play in the shift in attitudes, if, indeed, there was one?
Curious to hear what people think!
I'm having an issue with an enzyme I'm working with, where it catalyses its own inactivation over time, at an unknown rate. If i want to figure out some kinetic parameters for this, how could i do it? I've thought of trying to use Michaelis Menten kinetic assays, but as [S] = [E] i can't change just one of these variables. Any suggestions??
Vaccines would have saved so many lives.
The total ASMRs for the unvaccinated group (47.5 per 100,000 population) were 43.2 times and 12.5 times higher than the ASMR of individuals fully vaccinated with BNT162b2 (1.1 per 100,000) and inactivated vaccines (3.8 per 100,000), respectively.

Hi everyone! 3 or so years ago I got involved with a project to write a short story set around Christmas with the 4th Doctor, Sarah Jane Smith and Harry. The idea was 12 writers would write an individual short story for each Doctor up to Capaldi, representing the 12 days of Christmas (Clever, eh?). If anyone lurking around this sub was part of this, hello!
Just to dip my toes into this subreddit, I thought I'd leave the quick 6 page story I wrote for the 4th Doctor back then. I was very flattered to have been assigned a fan-favourite Doctor, but also concerned...as I must admit I haven't seen a full episode of his. I know- scandalous. I figured all the knowledgable people here would probably be able to say if I'd got the characters of 4th, SJS or Harry wrong.
If you fancy a quick festive read, and/or would like to collaborate further, please give it a look! I primarily like to write screenplays, so I remember this format being challenging. Let me know if Pastebin worked also.
All the best!
I have chosen to use a Carbon nanotubes (CNT) as an example material for my analysis of both electronic devices and nanomaterials. Carbon nanotubes any attractive physio-chemical properties such as h.
Hi All , I am here crying out for help again. I am trying to characterise some aggregates by SEC and the samples are so dilute it is difficult to quantify/visualise them on a chromatogram (see below). If any of ye have ever worked on aggregate characterisation, could you share with me how you did it (SEC ro not?). I am working a globular protein ~58kda in size.
THANKS <3

I think it starts with βreβ? In this show Iβm watching, the writers clearly hadnβt worked things out until later in the showβs run and tried to undo or fix up past plot lines to meet their new direction.
The main problem that animation faces is that it is an overtly fake diegetic form. The viewer is presented with a constructed reality of drawings and paintings, which may represent the real world, but unlike photographic film, does not look like it.
