Velvetine: ambergris, cypress, vanilla, clove, labdanum, fir. The enveloping darkness of a cozy oversized sweater; musky cypress and genuine ambergris settle into a bed of ambered vanilla sweetness and soft cloves.
Quote: After giving the ancient brick a pat, Taylor appears briefly melancholy. "Things were sped up by Covid, but we just couldn't afford the rates. The landlord wants to refurbish the whole building, which will probably end up as flats. It was out of our hands really."
Will the leeches stop at nothing to destroy the centre of communities and places of historic value, that benefit artists, adventurists, explorers and many more?
Despite having played for at least 3-4 years now, I only just found out about the Chandlery extension that lets you keep track of your actions and cards, with desktop notifications upon reaching full cards or actions.
When I saw this I wanted it, especially I was starting to grind for endgame items and wanted to be as efficient with my actions as possible. Unfortunately, the author has not updated the extension for the redesign and it no longer works. I tried messing about with the source code, changing the URL so that the extension has permissions for the new site, but I still don't have any indicators or notifications on my tab. Can anyone help? I'm sure we'll all be extremely grateful to have this lovely tool back.
An attempt at making the Candle Caster prestige class from the 3.0 source into a 5e Arcane Tradition for the Wizard. Any feedback, suggestions, and grievances over balancing issues that arise from this are all welcomed to be discussed! Thank you!
Headed to Germany in about a week and looking to hit a chandlery in Kiel if there is one. Does Europe have a West Marine equivalent? ;) TIA!
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Normally, I stay far away from clove. It tends to be so sharp and spicy on me. But I recently tried Chandlery from Pineward Perfumes and the clove just works! Itβs actually warm and cozy and quite irresistible.
Anyone else surprised by a perfume where their death note works?
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!

I first got a sampler from Pineward a while back, fell head over heels in love with the perfumes, and decided I would be sizing up in the future. Well, the holidays rolled around bringing a bunch of new or returning releases, so I went dram for the old ones I knew I loved and sampled all the new ones! I actually did a review on Pineward once before, but I decided to give it another go yesterday. I did not look at my old review so maybe my feelings on some of the older ones have changed! Overwhelmingly, my feelings are positive and this is the only house in the history of me dabbling in indie that I have not disliked one perfume yet.
Binderbole - Poplar bud, pine needles, ambrette, crushed leaves, cedar - This is less on the "sharp side" of pine and more a fresh, green hug from the forest. It's a gentle walk through the woods on a nice spring day. The overall feeling is relaxing and alive. This truly is one I would wear to bed for comfort. Simplistic perfection.
Velvetine - Ambergris, cypress, vanilla, clove, labdanum, fir - For me personally, this is the best vanilla has ever shined. It's an absolutely gorgeous, mature vanilla and I don't remember my original sample of this blowing me away as much as the dram upgrade has. 10000% smitten. There's a lovely, spiced, slightly musky depth to it, and a whisper of fir that makes this so well balanced rather than too sweet. I'm honestly so happy I got this again because I'm picking up so much more to it and it's overwhelmingly pleasant.
Revelries - Rum, clove, cinnamon, oud, hazelnut, raisin, apple - First time trying this one and it's a lot different than the original releases of the brand in that it has no pine. Still, it captures a natural and real quality that you expect Pineward to deliver. I AM HERE FOR IT. It smells like the essence of fall without being sugary or generic. The rum is definitely present and packs a sexy punch. The cinnamon is not overbearing, but real and and soft. The fruit and nut give an earthy quality that's reminiscent of a fancy trail mix...but with booze. I never knew I wanted that.
Autumnal - Peppermint, cinnamon, alfalfa, matΓ©, nettle leaf, beeswax, bran, deer's tongue, chamomile, fir needles, wheat, oakwood - This smells EXACTLY like herbal peppermint tea. Honestly I just want to drink it. Everything about this is refreshing and healing. Cold mint, warm tea, and a dash of greenery/grain that must exist to prevent me from doing a shot of this. Thi

but then I remembered it was ground this morning.
Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me that my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
BamBOO!

A play on words.
