A list of puns related to "Camilla And Rebecca Rosso"
(light spoilers)
I enjoyed this even more than I thought I would, and it may even be my favorite Ghibli now!
It felt to me like the most mature Ghibli film in terms of setting, pacing, and plot; the least fantastical/childish. The setting was really neat, being placed squarely in a period of real-world history, but with the addition of pilot bounty hunters and pirates at the end of their fictional era. That all mixed well with the light fantasy elements of his pig form and the brush with the pilot afterlife.
As a pilot myself, I highly appreciated the attention to aviation detail! Not only was the aircraft animation incredibly realistic and detailed, but all of the dialogue references to aviation and aircraft mechanical parts and design were accurate. That may have helped me get through some of the "slower" parts. For example, I really enjoyed the aircraft design and repair scenes that may have bored other viewers.
I can see why some would think it was a bit slow, but I was never bored. I thought the overall plot arc was done very well and had a perfect amount of action. The action itself was very satisfying from an aviation perspective without being too technical.
I also very much appreciated the classic romanticization of fighter pilots. Gave me the same sense of respect and wonder as Top Gun, Ace Combat, and other fighter media from the 80s-90s.
I thought the themes/message were great too! Porco's character was well fleshed-out.
Downsides? The fistfight ending was a bit much, but I appreciated everything else about how the film wrapped up. It felt like a more mature writing decision to leave us guessing about Porco's pig form and about his connection with Gina rather than explicitly answer for us (though I later noticed that we see his plane parked near her garden in a scene during the outro narration. That pretty much answers the Gina question, but it's subtle). It wasn't the fairytale ending I expected, and made it feel more like a slice-of-life tale about Porco than an all-ends-tied-up perfect story.
Overall, I think the setting and characterization of Porco carried this film, and the pilot in me appreciated the attention to detail. I'll be watching it again and showing it to others!
Hi guys! I'm obsessed over Gideon the Ninth but I haven't finished it yet (I'm around at three quarters of the book) so please do not spoiler me anything big lol. I was just wondering if Palamedes Sextus and his paladin Camilla are actually in love. I've read the part of the book where Gideon see their bedroom and she notice that Camilla apparently sleeps with Palamedes. And in all the scenes where they appear, they seem incredibly close π€π©β¨
And they havenβt shared a scene in two seasons now. Not since 16x18 :( and no Jo talking to Doll Meredith in 17x11 does. not count.
Camilla talks through her coverage of Harry and Meghan on their big day in 2018β¦ some say, the actual day of their wedding.
She walks you through the before, during and afterβ¦ she really took me back as I really really loved these two. It was such a moment of pride as a WOCβ¦ as an immigrantβ¦ I thought THIS IS ITβ¦ THIS IS OUR MOMENTβ¦ women of colour can marry British Princesβ¦ funnily, some close black friends didnβt claim her as part of the community as she wasnβt black enough / didnβt act black. Of course I supported her call highlighted their BS. Then during Megxit the same people complained about the racist BRF attacking a black womanβ¦ π€¨
What upsets me about Meghan and her behaviourβ¦ is many will assume her behaviour is typical of all POC just like the Sugars assume the Prince Andrewβs behaviour means all Royals act like himβ¦
Back to the clip, I loved the behind the scenes moments of how these moments are made⦠how live TV happens.
Itβs sad to reflect on how much goodwill that they had. How close Harry and William appeared even when there were problems in private.
All of that gone⦠and for what?

While I know we're all excited for Katony to debut on March 25, 2022, I'd be negligent if I didn't even mention how fitting this song is for Siena and Anthony's relationship in season one, and how poetic it is that Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) recorded a cover for us. π
I know a lot of people want this pairing to happen in season 3, but Iβd rather they remained as friends. Does anyone else agree or have I just opened myself up for a virtual kicking?
Edit: ok, so I guess I miss read the room and Ted & Rebecca is not as popular as I thought it was
Anyone got this please
I'm thinking Champagne gives France the edge here but Italy do be having better food.
R / B is actually really fun, but I normally enjoy the banter between Ultra and host, will there be any of that here? Or Am I just waiting for nothing? Just want to know what to expectβ¦
