Dingoes can range in color from golden, tan, and ginger, to black and cream. These colours are found among pure dingoes, but can vary more when interbreeding with dogs takes place. And their coats don’t produce the typical “dog smell.”

How do modern Republic of Ireland / Northern Ireland citizens think of the Black and Tans? How does this affect English/Irish relations?
From what I've read it sounds like they (Black and Tans) were and still are universally despised among both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Is this something that is regularly discussed or do the Irish from the North or South not really mention it? Is it something taught in schools primarily? Do elderly Irish folk have bad feelings for the English? I recently visited Ireland for a couple of weeks and didn't hear it mentioned even once, and didn't really expect it to considering I was quite the outsider (American). I studied the history for weeks before I went but I didn't get to speak to people who had opinions currently.
