A list of puns related to "Beecher"
I was under the impression from past articles the construction of the Beecher St bike lane was planned to be a separated and protected lane. It looks like that was implemented for a couple blocks, but then the rest of the section is just paint on the road. And what's worse, the car turning lane is going through the bike lane. It seems like a horrible design. Did something change along the way?
I wish the game would have kept the lumber yard/home builder location and you could have customized the ranch to your likings. Not much else to spend all the money your left with after completing the story.
During Arthurβs story, there were crates of whiskey and beer scattered around camp that the player could drink. I know itβs a little feature but I was wondering if there were any crates at Beecherβs Hope during the epilogue.
I'll get the prompt to sleep, but then if I hit it, John goes to sit down as usual for the animation, but then nothing else happens. I can hit the control stick to make him get back up, but then when he gets back up, the prompt is gone. Not just blocked by the fast travel map, there is no switch focus Rb prompt, just gone. I tried reloading a save and the same thing happened. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solution?
Edit: Also, I'm able to sleep fine during the day, but at night when Abigail is also in the bed, that's when John just sits there instead of the animation of him stretching, then the acreen fading to black or triggering one of the cutscenes of John and Abigail snuggling, so it seems to be something with that specifically.
I was watching an interview of Benjamin Byron Davis where he was answering fan questions, and I remember he specifically brought up John and Dutch between these years. Exactly what he said is lost on me, but it was basically a hint hint nudge nudge to what I have as the title of this post. I feel like a lot of questions come from it.
He either learned BEFORE or AFTER setting up base in Tall Trees.
BEFORE: So he learned John lived at Beecherβs Hope and decided to set up shop there, building a new gang. Why would he have done this after learning of where John lives? Would he be keeping tabs on him, or would he be looking out for him? Surely he could just keep tabs on him from a distance away, no? I guess this would be dependent on your personal interpretation of his relationship with John. This completely rules out the idea he just left the Marstons completely alone and did his own thing, because his choice of where to set up shop was because of their location, but we know his intentions werenβt malicious, or theyβd be dead.
AFTER: Alright, he set up shop and then got information John was living as a rancher in Beecherβs Hope. He chose not to attack or anything of the like, instead allowing him to live peacefully with his family. Some of the same questions still apply as for if he learned before, such as what would he be doing exactly? In this line of thinking, itβs actually feasible he just ignored them and went on with business as usual, not keeping tabs, watching out for them, or keeping an eye on them. BUT, if the evidence below is anything to go by, in both realities heβs at the very least keeping tabs on the Marstons for an unknown reason.
He knows Abigail and John are married in the original RDR. In the bank mission when he says John married her after they all had her. They donβt get married until 1907, after the events on the mountain in American Venom. He wouldnβt even know if they were still together, correct? This could obviously just be an inference or exaggeration on how their relationship was in the gang, but at the same time it may lend actual weight to the theory Dutch at least kept tabs on John in either reality. In either, he more likely then not watched the Marstons, at the very least keeping tabs on them, and possibly more (room for interpretation depending on what relationship you believe Dutch still had with John).
So basically, if he learned before, his purpose is likely more altruistic (but still maybe not, just more likely
... keep reading on reddit β‘We lived in Washington and bought the frozen Beecher's Mac n Cheese all the time from our local Costco. Then we moved to the middle of nowhere Colorado and the closest store, in Gypsum, says they haven't heard of it. Aaaagh. Is this one of those regional things that isn't sold outside of Washington? Did Beecher's and Costco part ways? If any Costco employee could enlighten me, that would be appreciated. Thanks!
