A list of puns related to "Battle Of The Scheldt"

That someone being >!Carlos!<.
The scene is the two of them in the graveyard after Dresden has buried Murphy.
This isn't a full-fledged fanfic, just one conversation that I wish had gone differently. I wish that Dresden hadn't treated Carlos as An Authority Figure, but as a good man trying his best to navigate an impossible situation. Here goes:
Point of departure:
> ββThe Council has spoken,β he said, just as tiredly, and turned to go.'
βWait, Carlos,β I said. He turned his head slightly.
βLook,β I said. βI get it. Youβre playing Council politics now. And of course, they made you come and deliver the news. Maybe they hoped Iβd start a fight and you could bury me right here. But Iβm not going to bite. Not today. I'm too tired, man.β I shook my head.
βYouβre right, Iβve gotten mixed up with some dangerous people. If I hadnβt, maybe we wouldn't have survived. And yeah, Iβm not telling you everything. Maybe that's for the best. When people get close to me...β My eyes traveled to the open grave.
βI miss Murph, Carlos. She was my best friend. And the thing about Karrin was, sheβd always give it to you straight. If I was really going all dark side, sheβd slap some sense in me. It hurts losing a friend like that.β I looked at him. βTwo friends, I guess.β I sighed.
βYou already know Iβm going to keep doing my thing here. Iβve got obligations, and Iβve got people who need me. And if the Council has something to say about that, they know where to find me. And, if it comes to it, I think you have a sense of who will be standing by me,β I said, gesturing at Michael. Carlos shifted uncomfortably.
βBut forget all that for a minute. At the end of the day, youβve been a better friend to me than I have to you. Iβm sorry man. You deserved better, and I owe you for that. I know you donβt trust Harry Dresden the man. So thatβs why Iβm saying this as the Winter Knight: thereβs an imbalance between us. And Winter pays its debts.β That got his attention. I took a bean out of my pocket.
βYouβve put your chips down on the Council. I can respect that. But you know full well that Peabody wasnβt the only person working to bring it down from the inside. So to you, to make things square between us, I offer exactly the same thing I offered Donald Morgan when he called: shelter, if things go sideways. If you need a haven, come find me, and I promise to hear you out. And if you just want to talk to someone about it, someone whoβs not in the thick of it, the

But I donβt mean what will be the price and will we win or lose. Throughout this battle between the average joes and the big money, the manipulative techniques used by the big money is used again, like they always have been to fuck over America and the world (Iβm Canadian but Iβm with yβall). Except this time itβs different. This time we got the attention of the world. We caused such a ripple that the government canβt just turn a blind eye...
But what will happen after this? Will there be a reform of the financial market? Or will this just be a thing that happened along with others and forgotten by all years in the future?
I hear a lot of people say:β I came to make money, stayed for the causeβ. Me too. But thereβs nothing we can do.
Apes, weigh in on this with your opinion.
I was going to make this post after I saw S08E03 but I held off since I was hoping Arya's story might be fixed in the later episodes.
It wasn't.
So let me take you back to the Battle of Winterfell when Arya was sneaking around the library.
In this scene here (skip to 2:00) Arya is hiding under the table but catches the attention of a wight. When the wight leans down to look at her she ninja-vanishes away.
Lets change that one shot and instead have Arya try something out of desperation. She changes her face to make herself appear to be a wight. The wight stares her for a moment then carries on. No other changes. Later scenes could be added were Arya uses this discovery to blend in with the army of the dead but honestly this one shot is all that's needed to establish this.
This fixes a few of the big issues people have had with Arya, The Night King and the Battle of Winterfell:
It gives Arya's training as a Faceless man an actual purpose in the story.
It gives an explanation for how Arya snuck up on the Night King; she was using her Faceless abilities to hide among the horde of wights.
It explains why it had to be Arya who killed the Night King; no one else could get close enough to the Night King without being torn apart by wights.
I know this doesn't fix everything but I feel like it would answer 90% of peoples complaints about the episode.
EDIT 1: so a few points I wanted to address:
1. Arya would need to cut off a wight's a face first.
Even if we assume she had no time to prepare a face Jaquen is able to take on Arya's appearance in this scene without tearing her face off but the show is a little inconsistent about faceless powers work.
2. Arya would just transform into the person that wight used to be instead of the wight itself.
There's nothing to establish that idea since no one's ever tried to transform into a wight before.
3. The wights can tell if something's really alive or dead.
There's no reason to assume that. The wights haven't been shown to have any "life-detection" power from my recollection and wights don't seem smart enough to figure it out. Wight-Walkers on the other hand might be but we don't have enough information on them to know.
EDIT 2: Okay one more point
4. The face-changing ability was already used to kill of the Freys
That's true but why not use it again this season? Especially since it could be fi

#SPOILER WARNING FOR PEACE TALKS AND BATTLEGROUND
Now that's over, I had an idea on how to properly punish the Titan Ethniu. In Peace Talks, Alfred asks Dresden what kind of punishment he wanted Thomas to suffer. It is mentioned that there a whole bunch of different avaliable punishments. After I finished Battle Ground, I thought of what to do to Enthniu. Because she hates humanity so much, I figured that the perfect punishment would be for her would be to have to watch humanity continue to progress. Make her watch as humanity strives to be better, advance, and reach for the stars. I think that would be the best punishment and torture. What do you guys think?
