##Armenian soldiers destroyed an Azeri position on January 11 | Casualties | OSCE statement | Aliyev about OSCE

OSCE urged Azerbaijan and Armenia to deescalate and engage in a meaningful dialogue over the Karabakh issue.

The statement comes amid Azerbaijan's border attack on Tuesday. Armenia lost three soldiers and two were wounded. Azeri media reported the death of at least one soldier.

The clashes took place within Armenian territories where Azerbaijan had illegally encroached in May 2021. Immediately after the January 11 clashes, videos were circulated showing a burning position. Video 1 and Video 2. Armenian soldiers filmed the ammunition explosion.

The burning position is the one that's 2.4km within Armenian territory. It's 5km from Verin Shorzha village.

The Armenian position, from which the soldiers filmed the video, is 230 meters away. It is safe to suggest that one of the Azeri positions within Armenia has now been destroyed, concluded CivilNet's fact-checkers.

##laws that went into effect in 2022

1. minimum pension & aid increase

The increase applies to minimum pension for seniors, disabilities, some soldiers, loss of a breadwinner, care for children under 2, etc.

The minimum pension for seniors went from ֏26.5K to ֏28.6K, and from ֏26.5K to ֏37K for disabled children. Full list in the article.

2. e-pensions, no cash

Haypost post office will process the pensions and other benefits exclusively electronically, with cash exceptions for some groups. This was already implemented in some cities. It's rolling out everywhere.

3. more babies, more money

Parents who already have two children will receive $100/mo for 6 years for giving birth to a third and subsequent child.

There is an intentional "loophole" to help in the case of twins. If you have one child today, and give with to twins, you will receive $200/mo for 6 years.

4. begone plastic bags

##Azerbaijan pulls "Elizabeth Holmes", gets caught using logos without permission while pushing a narrative at UN, gets thwarted by Armenian delegation

A UN conference is being held between December 13-17. Azerbaijan ignored its own problems and attempted to discredit Armenia, Artsakh, and Armenian diasporan organizations.

Azerbaijan attempted to portray Armenian organizations as terrorism sponsors, and to present the efforts towards Artsakh's right to self-determination as "separatism" and "terrorism".

Without permission from the UN Office on Drugs & Crime, Azerbaijan used its logo on the materials to give the impression that UNODC is a co-organizer of the Azeri event.

Armenian delegation, headed by General prosecutor Arthur Davtyan, took steps to counter the Azeri propaganda. They contacted UNODC, and the latter demanded Azerbaijan remove the logos.

Armenian speakers blasted Azerbaijani propaganda against famous Armenian organizations. They spoke about Azerbaijan's violation of international laws and the 2020 aggression. They also publicly reminded Azerbaijan about the World Court ruling that requires Azerbaijan to end racial hatred.

Hello good Armenian people,

I wanted to express my opinion as an Iranian who is born in Urumia about the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Iranians and Armenians have a long history. I have had a few Armenian friends and acquittances and I have never seen mistreatment towards me because of my birth place or race. Armenians are known to be wise and clean in Iran. In fact there is a poem from the late Parvin Etesami about them which is pretty famous and goes as such :

هیچ میدانی مسلمانی به چیست؟

صدق و بی آزاری و خدمت به خلق

هم عبادت،هم کلید زندگیست

Azerbaijan as a government has done thing for us except spurring divisions and separations among tribes. They have promoted racism and supported terrorist groups such as Al ahvaz ( blatantly even on their sub azerbaijan ) banning people and silencing them for being slightly harsh towards their corrupted and sick inclinations.

If there is a day that I have to choose to fight for one of these nations I will surely choose Armenia.

I just wish a day comes to the end of Azerbaijan's tyranny and atrocity. To reach that day, I want you to know, a plethora of Iranians are behind you noble people of Armenia.

Prosecutors recently charged an army Major G.G. with deserting his positions instead of organizing defense in Ishkhanasar. Five soldiers were charged after returning home from captivity.

Among the charged soldiers are Leuthenant S.A. and contractor R.N. The court has agreed to arrest them pre-trial.

Another Major, N.E., is also a suspect, but the court refused to arrest him.

##MOD: the army repelled an Azeri attack on the eastern border

The clashes began on December 8. Two Armenians were wounded, and one Azeri was killed.

MOD reports that Azerbaijan resumed the attacks today, but the Armenian side was able to repel it. "The opponent retreated to their original positions after sustaining losses". One Armenian soldier was killed and 8 were wounded.

Armenian MFA: Azerbaijan should refrain from provocative rhetoric and actions, and should not hinder the ongoing efforts to establish stability in the region.

MOD criticized a group of protesters: two soldiers were lightly wounded yesterday and had to be transported to a hospital. The same day, a group of protesters who had shut down a Vardenis road for internal political issues, learned that the vehicle with wounded soldiers would pass through the area, and informed the army command that they wouldn't allow the vehicle to pass. As a result, the vehicle had to use a longer route to the hospital, which significantly delayed the medical care for the soldiers. Obstruction of medical care to wounded servicemen is beyond all moral limits, regardless of any reason. //
