Or nah?
So I was recording the next video in my crafting series (see my thread yesterday if you're curious...) and found something weird with my crafting. After putting 4 Glitta Augites in a Spear (3 during Crafting, and the 4th in an upgrade), I noticed that the 4th Glitta Augite, while 10-folded, didn't seem to do anything. I found that odd, since I could swear that Glitta Augites couuld be 10-folded.
Anyways, so I did some testing, took screenshots, and put it in an imgur album here:

The bottom line is that there seems to be a range limit for weapons, which a Spear seems to hit after 4 Glitta Augites. Any more Glitta Augites is completely useless (though, of course, shorter weapons like Gloves still benefit from another 1 or 2).
This limit seems to be shared with the Raccoon Leaf (which has half the effect of a Glitta Augite; Raccoon Leaf increases Length by 0.25, Glitta Augite by 0.50).
The Art of Attack, which apparently increases range by 3.5, seems to bypass the limit and stretch much further though.
So yeah, if you're like me and you stuck in three Glitta Augites and Double Steeled a 4th on your "Ultimate" weapon, you just wasted 1-2 slots on your weapon. Oops.
Where is the best place to farm these? God realm? Do I need to steal them? Thanks!
Been playijg aot2 for a while the only thing im struggling to deal with is finding augite and that Armins mission is more challenging than I was expecting but the augite is the main thing.

Augite of Souls - In Game Description:
"A stone radiant with the light of Souls. The color of the light changes according to the Souls in the area."
I have never noticed that the color of the light changes. Can someone explain this? Thanks!
I did it! Loaded title, I know, but Iโm kinda proud of this. I hopped into a 3P before bed with about two hours left of Hexazeonโs dungeon with my Gronia team, and there was another Gronia and an Ideal/Edward in the room with me. We had great stalling on that first floor, we blasted through all of the floors in one shot each, with flawless execution.
We had just beaten the purple augite for the first time when suddenly the dreaded โConnection to lobby host lost, trying to reconnectโ popped up and I knew that I was boned. It took me the better part of thirty minutes, but I managed to whittle down the augites and Hexa himself! I was worried about his execute below 20%, but I did quick maths and found out I could mitigate the 371K with the Gronia shield and Kush shield to make it 52K. I saved two Gronia converts and got an 18-12 and 16-14 L-Board solves and managed to clutch it.
Pretty nice. Itโs probably the most difficult content Iโve managed to complete in my two months in returning to the game.
