A list of puns related to "Aqaba"
Hi guys. Myself and my boyfriend are considering/planning to go to Aqaba on monday the 22nd and stay in Jordan for two weeks or more. Ive been lurking in this subreddit a bit and you guys are not the most proud of your country it seems hehe. This is what we plan on doing, and we are open for suggestions: Scubadiving course Petra Jerash The dead sea Wadi rum Sleep in a desert camp
As we are foreigners we are likely to be scammed by the taxi drivers Ive heard? So we want to rent a car for a few days maybe.
My question is: would anyone of you locals be up for joining us in some parts of the trip? We rent the car of course, but you come with! We need someone that knows the language and culture and we would also love to hang out. We are both in our twenties, we love to hike, and we love travelling. Even if you cant come with it would be super helpful to be able to ask a local about stuff. Im very sorry if this is a weird request.
Iโm planning to go to cloud7 ayla this Friday but im concerned, will it be possible to swim, jetski and all the other activities?
Will the weather be a huge problem?
What are some other activities I can do at aqaba
Last thing how do I get the ุนุฏู ุงูู ู ุงูุนุฉ for the hotel
Thanks in advance
Question in title
Hello guys,
Quick question regarding the travel to Jordan:
I decided to stay one night in Wadi Rum desert, however I wonder if there are taxis waiting outside the wadi rum visitors centre so I can directly go to Aqaba next morning? Or should I book it in advance so the driver picks me up?
Hello everyone. I'll be travelling to Jordan on December 1st and I'll arrive via the Aqaba airport (was cheaper this way). I'm trying to book a bus from Aqaba to Amman with the Jett company but their website isn't showing any buses in December. If I search for November there are plenty of buses available everyday but in December there are none (not only on December 1st but for the whole month). Does anybody know if they close down for that month? Are there any alternative bus companies that offer buses from Aqaba to Amman?
Thanks.
Hello fellow redditors,
I have been travelling to Jordan for last few days; beautiful country, with beautiful places, delicious food and amazing people; I really love it and Iโm happy best sights are still on my eay;
However, i was wondering if anyone plans to go from Wadi Rum to Aqaba on 18th of November? Not by bus because it leaves early morning, but maybe some other transportation (hitchhike; personal car - as i can share fuel money; taxi - so we can share the price)
If so please hit me up
Is it worth visiting during the winter time or would it be too cold to swim and enjoy the beach?
I have full doses but got vaccinated not in Jordan. Do I still need a PCR test?
Ahlain, weโre visiting those cities in october and I was wondering if there were places to visit in these three cities. For example, new restaurants in Zarqa or activities for children in Aqaba. It's not my first time in Jordan but it's been a long time since our last trip! Shokran
Regardless of customs in my way out, I just want to know if the prices are cheaper than Amman
So I re-watched the scene in Faisal's tent in Lawrence of Arabia and took a look at the location of those places and I'm confused about several things.
Firstly, the movie never explains why the Bedouin attacked Medina in the first place or why the British and Turkish were interested in the region.
Secondly, Coronel Brighton asks Faisal to go to Yembo because the British can supply him there, and Faisal says that the British can supply the Bedouin through Aqaba, but Aqaba is hundreds of miles away.
Thirdly, I don't understand the whole "crossing the Neffud" strategy. It's such a long way around and I don't see why they didn't go along the coast. How can the british supply the Bedouin from Aqaba, if the only way to get to Aqaba from wherever the Bedouin are is through an impenetrable desert?
