A list of puns related to "Apple Arcade"
Looking through the top games on mobile you are flooded with ads, hidden costs, pay to win, and it's tiring.
That's why I find apple arcade brilliant. None of the apps have in app purchases, meaning they are designed differently from their core, not sucking the player into a pay to win cycle.
The games on apple arcade feel like actual full fledged games that used to exist at the dawn of mobile gaming. Plus you can trust kids not to rack up charges through apple arcade as there's no purchases.
I am honesty really loving the direction apple arcade is taking and I am finding myself actually playing games on my phone again.
I recently played The Collage Artist, Discolored and Mosaic and really like that kind of game (i.e., where there is ambiguity, and surreal, slower, ethereal moments, and it is not totally abstract.)
Are there others on Apple Arcade that would fit in this category as well? Thanks.
Aside from using iCloud and Game Center, I've noticed other consistencies across Apple Arcade games. It seems like Apple has a strict set of rules for these games. Here's a list of some that seem to be Apple Arcade requirements. What others are there? Any notable exceptions to these?
Apple Ecosystem
Input Devices
Monetization
Exclusivity
No BS
Just got AA with a new iphone xr. I totally love it. Have an mfi controller also.
Loving oregon trail at the moment.
For me this just is right. Good games for a very decent price. And outside apple arcade there are some premium games to. Just bought unruly heroes. Wonderful.
I was thinking of buying a nintendo switch for indie games. But have plenty with my phone it seems.
Having no problems buying mobile games and i prefer that way instead of f2p
I switched from android(i switch between operating systems every 3 years to try something fresh) and i was surprised by apple arcade.
I love it so much, it has a library of good quality games but i barely hear anyone talk about it that i forgot it exists after hearing about it during its launch a few years back or something
So is it a service in decline that i should expect go the way of google+ or do games still keep coming as they planned?
I have a 3-month trial of Apple Arcade (AA) that I should redeem soon.
I take it I can store save files on iCloud if that's enabled so I can resume even if I delete the game, or halt my AA subscription?
Any exclusives you'd recommend?
Running on 9th gen iPad with 64 GB, so nothing too large in storage size, nor power/spec hungry please
I am looking for new games to download for my daughter. Right now she enjoys MasterChef.
I bought a new iPhone 2 months or so ago and it says it comes with free 3 months of apple arcade and apple tv but when i redeem it and put payment method it always says insufficient balance β¦..do you require money in the bank account even to redeem the free 3 months?
I only have 4 days left to redeem so fast answers would be appreciated.
Thank You.
It would be nice to see βPlasma Sky+β and βJelly Defense+β. Jelly Defense has a real Apple Arcade feel to it, I used to play it for hours when it first appeared on iOS all those years ago!
Maybe something bigger like Stardew Valley could work too! (Itβs on Xbox game pass so why not Apple Arcade?)
Whatβs everyone elseβs thoughts?
I did a list of Apple Arcade games for a friend new to the service so thought Iβd share it here for anyone else lookingβ¦
βProperβ games.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/the-pathless/id1441675155 Great looking adventure game, Iβm only about halfway but itβs very good looking and cool to control.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/sayonara-wild-hearts/id1441675161 Bonkers kind of rhythm action game with a mad soundtrack.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/oceanhorn-2/id1141837408 Huge and fantastic looking action RPG not unlike Zelda.
Racing games.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/detonation-racing/id1477484840 Good fast paced wipeout/burnout/split second type racer. Takes a minute to get the hang of the drift but when you do, mighty enjoyable.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/asphalt-8-airborne/id1563005359 A very arcadey little racer with real world cars and an absolute ton of content.
βSportsβ games.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/cricket-through-the-ages/id1435904911 Itβs all about cricket through the ages. Madness and good for a chuckle.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/what-the-golf/id1415190483 A golf game like youβve never played. Barely a golf game at all! Youβll end up using a dumper trick to hit a hedgehog into a flaming tireβ¦
Oddities.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/sp-ng/id1483542433 A flinging balls from rotating hooks game. Donβt really know how to describe it but I can tell you it may well be the game Iβve played the most on arcadeβ¦.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/sneaky-sasquatch/id1098342019 A game about a Sasquatch that has to play loads of mini games while pottering about. More fun than it maybe sounds.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/altos-odyssey-the-lost-city/id1538650027 Top class game in which you go sand surfing and enjoy the mellow vibes.
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/mini-motorways/id1453901000 A strategy game where you have to draw out the roads for real world cities. Really nicely simplified controls make a satisfying experience.
I am a fan of incremental games, and most are ad ridden messes on mobile. Does anyone recognise of any on Apple Arcade? The appeal of ad free sounds like the PC incremental game experience, and it lends itself perfectly to a mobile βcheck every few βββ hoursβ format.
Hey guys, so I know it can be played over periods of offline time, however I go on deployment regularly and am gone for months at a time without an internet connection. Can it still be used over this time with no issues?
Are the Apple and Google benefits "pick one" per family? Or can each line take advantage of them individually?
Like can I sign up for Apple Arcade on my line and my son sign up for Google Play pass on his?
Hey guys, Apple Arcade subscriber for about a year here. Lately Iβve been noticing new releases of already existing games but with the + title attached to them (like having Oddmar in the App Store and then releasing Oddmar+ on Apple Arcade). Iβm just a bit curious, I donβt exactly know if thereβs a reason theyβre two different games. Are the + versions more polished? Do they have extra content? Thanks in advance for your help.
In my personal opinion the Nintendo Switch Pro controller is one of the best controllers ever made and I use it for everything to Steam to Stadia. Which is why it's extremely odd to me that it's not listed as a supported controller for Apple Arcade. Does anyone know why this is? Did a licensing problem? APIs don't work? Bad blood after Super Mario Run?
I just got it last week, and having been an NBA2K fan since 2K5, Iβve been really stuck to 2K22. Really beautifully done. Whatβs your favorite games to play? Hidden gems on arcade? Is there any management style games?
I mainly got it for The Oregon Trail. What else should I check out? I like all types of games. So don't hesitate to give me a recommendation.
Is there any way to disable app store notifications for apple arcade? Stuff like "apple arcade greats" and other suggestions. Ever since I subscribed a couple weeks ago I get notifications every other day or so.
at all?
Also include some info on why you picked them, mine would be
Dread nautical Ocean horn 2 Alba

Sneaky Sasquatch is a part of me now.
Itβs been amazing to see this game grow.
And itβs amazing to be back.

In my testing, i have an iphone 13 non jailbroken.

So far none of the games Iβve tried work: they crash on launch. Is it some DRM type thing ?
Im not an apple guy but id love to play some games that have entered the library. Whats the most afordable iPad that could run apple arcade?
Hi all!
For anyone who is interested in getting a couple of free months added to your existing or new Apple Arcade subscription, LEGO currently has an offer for VIP members (creating an account is free) to redeem 300 VIP points for "up to 3 months" of Apple Arcade.
The offer should be available here when you are logged in: https://www.lego.com/vip/rewards-center/rewards
(for obvious reasons I can only confirm that this exists in the Swedish site)
While I myself already had a bunch of VIP points from previous purchases, I'm pretty sure new accounts will be able to collect the 300 points simply by doing "tasks" on the site such as filling out your profile.
I haven't investigated what "up to 3 months" means but in my own case I already had an active Arcade subscription and when I redeemed the offer I got 2 months added to my subscription. So perhaps it means new users get 3 months and subscribed users get 2 months.
i am new to this i enjoy the real arcade version but not many in my area. i downloaded the apple arcade app and iβve been playing with the middle single drum and left thumb only for the blue drum hit and right thumb only for red i donβt do any type of back and forth both thumbs drumming. i am wondering how do other people play and if there are better methods because it is difficult for me for some of the hard ones i miss a bunch of blue. thank you
How to search in apple arcade tab?
Are there any idle games on Apple Arcade?
So Iβm looking for Apple Arcade games that you can play wit multiple controllers on Apple TV not on separate devices. Do any exist?
