A list of puns related to "Allie Grant"
I wasn't really sure how to word/phrase this as a post so I hope this is being clear.
To sum it up: the President of Lyon has tweeted at both Alex Morgan and Allie Long to join his team (Alex Morgan joined soon after). Merritt tweeted at the president, Jean-Michel Aulas, these two tweets:
> .@JM_Aulas rather than courting players under contract, act with class and bring your women's team to see how they'd do vs the Thorns > > Source
.
> .@JM_Aulas many players prefer to play in front of the world's biggest crowds vs better competition than you guys provide > > Source
Then Grant Wahl chimed in with quoting Merritt and stating:
> Entertaining stuff between the guy who owns Portland Thorns & the guy who runs Lyon. > > Source
This sparked a conversation between Grant Wahl, Hercules Gomez and Merritt. Conversation can be seen under Grant's tweet. But to sum that conversation up, Herculez Gomez asks why it's not considered "tampering" when Lyon tweets at players to join them and why it's allowed, and Merritt responds that if this was happening in Men's side, it wouldn't be allowed.
too op?

Not sure if anyone else will feel the frisson from this but her 'walked in their shoes' to the young woman who retorted her hit me kinda hard.

Compared to most players, this issue doesn't bother me that much. However I can agree a lot of the fun moments are caused by playing around with halo's physics sandbox. I can also see 343's intent of making a more enjoyable sandbox (the reduction of allied player harassment) with the removal of friendly collision and damage.
We can then use 343's adjustment of making sprint better for the sandbox (reducing its bonuses while allowing ticks such as sliding) and add more utility via the method of phasing through allied players. Another alternative can be to give that utility to sliding, which would make slightly more sense thematically in the first place.
The biggest issues I can think of related to this would be about player stacking. Would pressing shift just drop the players above you straight down and nudge you out of the way when letting go of shift? Most other issues that I can think of are kind of unimportant when you consider that you already phase through allies in the first place. We should also consider that opinions may change in the coming 12v12 flight next week as those are numbers we have never worked with before.
TLDR: I just don't want more options taken away from players due to bad actors and since we already have sprint as our toggle to slide, let us use it to toggle body blocking.
A friend and I were having a discussion and have different opinions on if it triggers on a shield given by an Ally (eg: Lulu, Morgana).
Whenever you gain a shield*, your next* basic attack against an enemy champion deals 5 β 30 (based on level) (+Β 1.5% bonus health) (+Β 8.5% shield amount) bonus Adaptive damage*. The empowered attack lasts for up to 2 seconds after the shield expires.*
I know what the wording says, but does this trigger it?
This effectively gives you multiple morellos for the price of 1 item slot.
Not sure if this is news or not, but I thought it was cool, nevertheless.
Not for any balance reason, but I think it makes more sense thematically that general's palace would embolden its own troops instead of weakening the enemy's.
I never understood why it works like that, considering that for all intents and purposes cards that require you to challenge an enemy (like renekton) work with both challenge and vulnerable.
Do you think that IS would ever add a skill that allows a unit to give close/distant counter to an ally? If they did how would it work? I was thinking that it could be a rally type skill that would cause the flash effect if the unit is panicked.
The easiest way to replicate it is to pick Rek'Sai in the Lab and roll the starting power until "Sharing is Caring" comes up. I used it on Aspiring Chronomancer, but I assume other units are treated the same way.
[EDIT: clarified. I misunderstood the exact mechanics, duuh]

Here is where Jean-Michel tweeted at Allie (including context):
Basically, Alex Morgan tweeted at her earlier today giving her some praise:
> @ALLIE_LONG you beast! 95% passing and goal, she's on π₯ π₯π₯ > > Source: Alex Morgan
Then Jean-Michel replied to Alex and Allie:
> hello Allie everyone hope you come in OL with Alex next year to win the next title in French and EUROP ππ > > Source: Jean-Michel
