Got the Zhukov on, now I need an optic. Looking for suggestions on a the smallest reflex sight thatβll mount of the front rail. My irons are pretty useless with the new stock and I donβt want anything bulky or a tube RDS on the front. I put my Eotech XPS 2 on it and I hate the aesthetic

I used to hate Shacklethorne but lately I've been loving the aesthetics of the map, more specifically the cases of extra loot. Is it just me or did they make speed running stealth on a ton of maps easier? (in a good way though)

I kind of hate that I want a jeep truck now because of Bill Murray. But, it needs at at least 35s to look proportional. What are yalls thoughts on perfect tire size for our XJs when talking about purely aesthetics?

I honestly hate playing the new map because of the dark yellow aesthetic.
I honestly hate playing the new map because of the dark yellow aesthetic.
Its more fatiguing tracking dudes when everything is too dark. The evening novelty is already worn off. I don't understand the design decision when everyone hated the dark aspect of KC in the dark.
I want a neutral color temperature and the ability to see clearly. Evening mode should be a event, not the core game.

Does anyone else think the visceral hate Mayor Pete gets from the online left is really just more about aesthetic and image over policy?
This twitter quote from a thread really hit the point here
Basically all the respondents were presumptions about his perceived character than meaningful policy differences. Many of them say "he's basically a republican' which is rose-twitter speak for "he's not Bernie'
But I think the hate against him is based on some very surface level characteristics that they infer as a proxy for character and policy. Mayor Pete is pretty buttoned-up, cerebral, well-spoken and educated, went to Harvard, served in the military, worked at McKinsey briefly before becoming mayor, openly religious, talks about uniting and bringing people together, and just overall has a calm, cool, and collected demeanor It seems like that may confer a sort-of mainstream respectability. Also being a white male confers some privilege that he must have experienced.
In contrast to someone like Bernie. He has the disheveled look with the messy hair, and he's loud, railing against billionaires, they trot out that picture of him getting arrested at a civil rights rally back in the day. Those surface-level things about him give off a "radical" aesthetic. That he wants a fight. And the people that like him see these things and make it seem more authentic to them, while they see someone like Pete or anyone moderate and see a "phony", "not gay enough" "neoliberal corporate sellout" etc.
I'm leaning toward Mayor Pete and these attacks never resonated with me and I think the strange visceral hate he gets is because he seems so "normal" if he was a communist drag queen that throws bricks at cops, they'd probably love him.
Does anyone else think that?

Anyone else hates the Antoni/Marc Tudisco aesthetic?
They are made in like less than an hour, and its just recycled trash and now its considered an aesthetic and is becoming a norm to anyone who enters 3D and often they don't understand the basic principles (modeling, texture, rigging etc) and jump in straight to how to do it by downloading models and textures, rigging with mixamo. That's just my unpopular opinion.

In MegaMind, when we first see Roxanne sheβs dressed in red (a color that goes well with Metromanβs aesthetic.) Then as we see her getting to know Megamind, sheβs usually seen in purple (a cross between red and blue) and by the end of the movie sheβs dressed in all blue (MegaMind's signature color.)

Does anyone else feel like modern gaming has a serious lack of true fantasy aesthetic/settings?
Nowadays, when people think of fantasy RPGs, the most obvious things coming to mind are Witcher 3 and/or Skyrim, 2 very succesful, modern, AAA RPGs with fantasy elements.
But in reality, they're still very grounded in realism, or even folklore, and less true fantasy- the environments aren't too unlike what we might see on our own planet.
Hell even Final Fantasy XV, is very grounded in realism and modern technology with light sprinklings of fantasy aesthetic.
It boggles my mind that huge Hollywood movies can make succesful fantastical worlds, and environments- but gaming has almost completely forgotten or left behind the trend.
I'm talking about things like floating ruins, giant insects or plants, truely exotic and fantastical or whimsical worlds and creatures- things like Xenoblade Chronicles 1, or other things similar.
It feels like any AAA game is going to be a realistic shooter, a vaguely realistic open world environment with light fantasy, or none at all- but where has all the true fantasy gone?
This isn't meant to insult anyone who does prefer more realistic settings, I'm glad there's lots of alternatives, moreso to provoke conversation.

We DO NOT want the game to freeze in time. We DO want new content. We just want that new content to be Old School in terms of gameplay mechanics and aesthetics.
A lot of people seem to not understand the difference between not wanting changes to be made in the game and wanting to preserve the look and feel of new content. OSRS would die very quickly if there was no new content. This game needs new content, I think anyone will agree with that.
However, new content should be in line with how the rest of the game is designed. Both in terms of gameplay mechanics and aesthetics. New mechanics can, of course, be introduced, but they should have an Old School feel to them. Raids 1 and 2, for instance, both look and play as one would expect of OSRS. This is superb content.
It can be challenging to hold back on aesthetics. I'm sure the art team is incredibly talented and can produce extremely high-quality graphics if they wanted to. But those are not for OSRS. Don't try to find a middle ground either, because then you end up with something like the Dragonstone armor.

I'm Max Krieger, developer of CROSSNIQ+, the new Switch "y2k aesthetic" puzzle game. Ask me anything!
UPDATE: Well, the last question on this AMA is almost an hour old, so I think it's closing time! Thanks to everyone who stopped buy - please check out the game (and its soundtrack), all of your support is appreciated!
Good afternoon, /r/nintendoswitch!
Happy to be here - my name is Max Krieger. I'm a solo indie dev, and my first console game (ever), CROSSNIQ+, just hit Switch a week ago. I'm hyped to talk about it with you all and answer your questions!
CROSSNIQ+, to summarize, is a "y2k aesthetic" arcade puzzle game - visually, think the era of the Dreamcast, transparent iMacs, the early internet, Wipeout, Space Channel 5, Meteos, and cool blue-and-white shiny music videos.
The game itself is like a cross between Tetris and a Rubik's Cube, and takes inspiration for a ton of arcade puzzle games before it - Puzzle Fighter, Tetris TGM, Magical Drop, Puyo, etc.
You can check out the website if you wanna learn more about the game... or you can talk to me here! Right now!
As they say, ask me anything!
