When travelling to the USA from Zurich, does one need to take off shoes and put snacks in a separate bin from the rest of handlugage when going through security? The airport website doesn't mention either, just the 100 ml liquids rule and batteries, but wanted to double check.
Flew to LSZH after the SU6 and noticed that the airport building had a white texture all over. I don't recall any such issue before SU6 as I used to fly here often previously too but never noticed anything like this.

Hi I'll be coming to Switzerland for a week in 2 weeks time and I'll be arriving at Zurich Airport then taking a train to Lausanne
I wanted to know how long will it take me to pass the airport upon arrival?
And ideally how early should I reach the airport for departure?

Flights between London City Airport and Zurich are again operating. As the hub prepares to resume international traffic, flights from London City Airport to Switzerland have resumed. Passengers can fly to Zurich, Switzerland's largest city, from the Royal Docks hub.
Swiss International Air Lines is initially operating two rotations every week, but the timetable is projected to expand as lockdown limitations are lifted, for leisure and business travel.
