A list of puns related to "Zico discography"
Others I enjoy:
I've been listening to a lot of Block B these days - idek how I'm back in my Block B feels, but I really miss them. I was never a BBC, more of a casual listener, but I just really liked their music.
That being said, their discography is such a delight to dive into. They have such a distinct style and they're so much fun on stage. It got me looking back at their career and thinking about how successful they really were (at least domestically). Like they've got Nalina, Her, Very Good, Nalili Mambo and Jackpot to show for in their careers. And pretty much every title track of theirs was a banger. Even Bastarz (the P.O., U-kwon, B-bomb unit) released Zero for Conduct and Make it Rain, like wow.
They also really came from a company that had nothing, and were even screwed over their company. I'm so proud of them for managing to stay together and coming back with full force after that incident. Zico's vision for the group as a producer was so clear, he didn't miss with the music he made for them, and it was their music (and members' skill) alone that propelled them.
With 'noise music' whatever that stands for coming back in full force in kpop these days, I hope people start seeing Block B's music again. They own hype music, with P.O.'s booming voice.
Editing: to say that Block B's fandom name stands for Block B Club and the fans don't refer to themselves as BBC but rather as bees now - idk if its official or not, that's what some fans on the sub have mentioned. It seems to have caught a lot of people's attention so I felt like I should clarify that.
As of 12am on March 1st KST Spotify saw huge number of KPop songs go inactive/can't be played. So far there are reports of this from US, CA, UK, DE so I assume it's world wide. The link seems to be everything licensed by/to Kakao M (who own Melon). Spotify recently launched in Korea without their catalog so I assume this is related to that problem: https://hypebae.com/2021/2/spotify-korea-launch-without-iu-zico-monsta-x-kakao-m-k-pop-music-streaming-service-info.
I'm not going to list the artists as I'm sure at least hundreds have been impacted, here are some examples using IU's discography: https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/luigtf/spotify_removes_a_huge_number_of_kpop_tracks/gp6i0lu/
To be clear this is going to have a huge impact on tons and tons of artists, many labels and artists would use Kakao M as their distributor.
It seems like as a general rule things released by SM, YG, JYP, and BH are fine, but anything from a smaller label has a good chance of being gone. But this is a general rule as licensing can be complicated: GFriend's discography is mostly gone because Source distributed through Kakao M not Big hit.
Also please don't rush to blame Spotify. It's hard to say who is at fault for this particular decision but Kakao M certainly blocked Spotify from getting their songs in Korea to limit competition with Melon. If you're a subscriber please contact Spotify and let them know you want this music, but realize they may not be able to do anything.
Here is a list (thread) on twitter of artists with removals but keep in mind this is going to be very much incomplete, so many artists were hit by this - https://twitter.com/lemonphobic/status/1366048808220639234
If you have Spotify playlists you can see what songs were removed by turning on "Show unavailable songs in playlists" under display options in the settings menu.
Note: I've made a few edits here, this comment is also worth checking out: https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/luigtf/spotify_removes_a_huge_number_of_kpop_tracks/gp6skgk/
12:50 pm KST update: Spotify https://www.soompi.com/article/1456872wpp/spotify-officially-explains-why-hundreds-of-k-pop-releases-were-removed-from-platform-worldwide and Kakao M https://twitter.com/tmikpop/status/1366233681820585987 have now both made statements.
2:00 pm KST update: P-Nation seems to have reuploaded some songs that were taken down under their own copyright. May see some other labels also able to do this - https://www.reddit.com/r/k

Ah yes, the quintessential RnB Kpop song. Children is basically the little sister of Bad Boy, so if you love one, youβll definitely love the other!
Want is my favorite Taemin song, and Lost in You has the same sexy night club/runway vibes. Hong Eunki is a very nugu artist but heβs worth checking out!
The Midnight Romance is a nugu K-band heavily influenced by the 80s synth sound, so pretty much anything in their discography will be reminiscent of Ghosting. Their self-titled track Midnight Romance is a great introduction to this group.
The TikTok-viral Any song is super catchy and chill, and home dance has the same vibes - if even chiller - and instead of piano it has guitar and strings. This is another great nugu artist!
Okay first of all, LE and Soyeon are both rapper/producer queens AND they have similar voices, which I think is super cool. This match up isnβt perfect, but the songs have similar vibes in my opinion, and the LE/Soyeon comparison really carries this pairing for me.
Another imperfect pairing, but I got so many requests for songs like Daisy on my recent post that I wanted to include this. Theyβre both rock-inspired songs with a sort of wistful vibe, so I think youβll like Young if you love Daisy!
What can I say, they both kind of sound like Timber by Pitbull ft. Kesha to me, lol. End of Spring also has a rock version - Onewe is a band after all - which is great too!
Iβve literally been trying to find a song like Baby Tonight so I could put it in one of these posts for FOREVER, and luckily my boys Enhypen pulled

Tl;dr at the bottom
So, first of all, I thought it could be fun to rank every single one of BTS's songs (no solo songs that aren't on an album, pre-debut, skits, or other language versions of the same song though. I also used a bit of discretion on what intros and outros I ranked) on a letter system from S to F, and then get an average to decide the grade their discography as a whole gets. So, in short, I listened to all of their songs, assigned them a number from 1-6 (with a max of 3 songs earning a 0 for excellence, and technically a max of 3 earning a 7 for being abhorrent but that never happened). So, just for quick reference:
S-1
A-2
B-3
C-4
D-5
F-6
I only accept whole numbers, so the total will be rounded to the nearest whole digit. So let's say the average was a 4.8, then I will be giving it a rating of D. Also, S is exceptional, A is great, B is good, C is just a song, D is bad, and F is terrible.
Disclaimer: The more songs a group has, the more likely they are to be around B-D ratings, hovering mainly around C for the standard group. A good group can expect a B, an A is only the best of groups (like MAYBE one group or two will earn that with a reasonably sized discography), and an S means you don't have many songs. No group can pull off a 1.4+ average with more than one or two albums put out, it's just not gonna happen. Without further ado, let's get into it.
I ranked 133 BTS songs, about 6 and a half hours of listening time, and assigned a numerical ranking for every single one of them. But before I give you the final grade, I'd like to discuss each album and a few thoughts about it, as well as my views on the biggest strengths and weaknesses of BTS musically.
2 Cool 4 Skool
This album functionally has 3 songs, of which I actually like all of them. Nothing to spectacular here, not a very good album overall (3 songs isn't much) but what it does have is pretty good. Not too bad as an opening.
O!RUL8,2?
As well as being the cringiest fucking album name I have ever seen, this is definitely BTS's weakest album overall. Having 8 songs (more tracks, but 8 songs), I only really enjoy 3 of them, and while I do quite enjoy one of them in particular (Paldogangsan is fire) the rest are meh? Oh, and N.O is easily their weakest title track. Not a good album overall, but luckily, this is their last t

This is a continuation of my previous post because I need to add some things. When I finished off that rant saying I didn't include everything I saw, I meant it.
Now, in my previous post I called Kpop fans hypocrites (yes, I am also calling myself a hypocrite) without giving an explanation mainly because it's, at times, so obvious that I don't think it really needs an explanation. Kpop fans are notorious for preaching about how an idol's mental health and are important, but then will turn around and practically normalize and defend saying vile things about Ateez (as well as other groups) and creating the most appalling accusations and rumors about them. No, I am not talking about the usual lying about their discography and versatility like many have done numerous times. I am first talking about the plethora of plastic surgery claims.
Plastic Surgery Claims
Kpop Reddit had an absolute blast dissecting Ateez's faces; forming claims like "Seonghwa can't open his mouth too wide due to his botched jaw surgery", "Hongjoong has a metal rod up his nose to stretch out his nostrils" (???), "KQ forced Wooyoung to lose weight because he was too ugly", literally saying they look like "jarring, uncanny aliens" (supported by a truck-load of upvotes, and anyone who spoke against these things was downvoted to hell and called sensitive or toxic), along with many other off-putting statements. I would like to know, in what world is saying those things ever acceptable? It feels very invasive, intrusive, inappropriate, you name it. Some Kpop stans truly have such a weird obsession with plastic surgery when it comes to idols--I'd 100% love it if you'd show me your PhD in plastic surgery from Google.com though! I'm not saying these rumors are true, nor are they false. I'm saying it's none of my business and it's also none of your business. I also don't think it's right to shame someone for getting plastic surgery either. But, eventually, some of you need to realize that you're going too far with these dissections that you're doing for a couple brownie points and validation from strangers on the internet.
That's not the only gross rumor I've heard about Ateez though. No, surely not. There's of course the rumors of them being racists and saying racial slurs (which aren't true), Hongjoong shading a member of another boy group (isn't true eit
... keep reading on reddit β‘There's a lot of discourse over idols' creative involvement in their music. It tends to be very black-and-white; either idols are considered 'self-produced' so all their music is 100% made by them, or people undermine them for having co-writers and multiple names on the credits. While I am not an expert myself, I want to clear some of the misunderstandings surrounding this discussion and shed some light on the nuance in music creation :)
Firstly, we need to break down the concept of creative involvement. Consider this example: a kpop company hires an external producer to make a song for their idol group. The company PD sends them a brief: they want X BPM, in Y key, Z genre, X length of time etc. When the producer composes their song, there will be some back and forth between them and the company PD, tweaking it to suit the PD's creative vision. Who is more creatively involved?
Of course, the song is literally the creation of the producer who put hours into making it. However, it is equally the brain child of the PD who has previously envisioned the entire concept and sound of the record, and makes the producer edit the song until it suits the PD's brief. Already, we see that different people provide their respective inputs in order to make music.
Music is rarely entirely made by one individual. To break it down slightly, let's use Shinee's Replay as an example (bear in mind that the names of roles are pretty fluid, and the musicians needed differ from song to song):
Songs like daechwita- august D, decapitation- PIRI, mimew-Yezi etc.., like the kind of βaggressiveβ/growl rapping kinda songs?

Part 3 (by u/anonourmouse)
Part 4:
The "If You Like___, Try ___!" series has been u/anonourmouse (original creator) and I switching off, but I strongly encourage other Kpop fans on here to make their own installments. Off of the top of my head, u/MemeYourself, u/Nmey54, u/BHassock2, and u/GhostOfLobster all have the skill to make high quality recommendation compilations. I'm sure I could come up with plenty of other users on here and there's countless more that I've never met who could all make an installment. I'll continue to write more parts and u/anonourmouse probably will too, but the more people that contribute, the more the community benefits.
There's something indescribable about the appeal of End to Start, but when I listen to it, the song evokes the same lonely and melancholy emotions as Strangers. Both of these songs are hidden gems in their artist's discography and I highly recommend listening to them.
One of Got7's best titletracks, You Calling My Name reminds me of one of KnK's best titletracks: Sunset. Both of these are Deep House anthems with an anti drop chorus that I'd expect to here on a high end fashion run way. If you like these, I recommend Want and Move by Taemin.
I also recommend I Can't Stop Me by Twice. All three of these songs fall within the synth-pop genre and are perfect to listen to while driving. If you're looking for more similar songs, I suggest checking out Voice by Loona.
These songs give off summer vibes mixed with nostalgia. I'd play these on the drive home from the beach at sunset and we're sitting in comfortable silence just enjoying each other's company. For more songs with this vibe, check out: The Memory of Summer. It's not finished, so please recommend more!

... keep reading on reddit β‘She's one of my favourite soloists in K-pop along with IU, GD, Heize, Taeyeon and Zion.T but I haven't really thought about her as a producer until I looked at her credits. Her versatility in such a short amount of time is kind of unparalleled and her work behind the scenes deserves more recognition.
You hear about the usual suspects when it comes to idol producers. Generally speaking, Woozi, GD, Zico, Soyeon, Hui, Jonghyun and Suga are among the first praised by fans when it comes to talented composers. In my opinion Sunmi should be listed right along with them. She's been a consistent hand behind the scenes ever since Reboot where she co-produced and wrote three songs. Reboot pretty much kickstarted the 80s trend in K-pop and is regarded as one of the best GG albums of all time with Sunmi's songwriting contributing to its greatness.
The amount of credits she has with such a short discography is impressive. On her Warning EP she received sole credit for songwriting on 5 songs, as well as receiving first credit for production on 4 of them. Noir is one of my favourite K-pop songs of all time and Pporappippam was such a breath of fresh air with its city pop and 80s synth hybrid style. Probably my favourite song of the year. Again, Sunmi was the sole songwriter on both of these tracks and received first credit for production. Her musical talent is undeniable at this point.
Anyway, I hope we get a full album from her in the near future because her discography is virtually flawless at this point. Like I said before, her songwriting and production is top-tier among idols and she deserves to be listed among the best.
Besides NCT, what other groups do you stan? (when I say stan, I mean like the majority of their discography)
I'm curious to know what are the other favourite groups of this subreddit!

Iβve recently been diving into Penomecoβs discography and was pleasantly surprised by Movie. Iβd only really known of him as a rapper but he has a beautiful voice too! So I was wondering if people could recommend me other rappers (Kpop or Khh) who are also good singers. A few I can think of are Han (Stray Kids), Jay Park, and I think Zico.
Thanks!
Go post NSFW jokes somewhere else. If I can't tell my kids this joke, then it is not a DAD JOKE.
If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.
Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???
Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.
Thank you,
A Dad.
(This explanation intro is a repost from when I first shared these playlist a couple of months ago. I first shared 2017, then 2013, then I managed to clear the whole decade 2009-2019. I found myself a girlfriend in October and started a new job in November. This on top of my busy wrestling training and workout regimens, I hardly had time to finish these. I barely squeezed out DL05 around Thanksgiving. I actually found a good amount of free time when the winter storm crippled Texas, so with a few snow days at my disposal, I managed to knock out DL06 in one day. Thus, I finally managed to finish ALL of them.)
For about a decade, I've had a hobby of making setlist playlists on iTunes. I'd keep track of shows I attended this way. A fun hobby of mine was tackling festivals. I liked doing this for Download Festival, Sonisphere, Soundwave, Warped Tour, Mayhem Festival, even a few odd ones like Aftershock or Rock On The Range.
Important note, I'm American. I've never been outside the states. Closest I've been to leaving was going to the Canadian border at Niagara Falls, the Mexican border at Eagle Pass, TX, even off the continent to Hawaii, but never outside the US. I've always wanted to travel, almost exclusively for going to Download Festival in the UK. That's my concert/festival Mecca, a bucket list item. I've always wanted to go there ever since watching the live stream of 2009. The closest to Download Festival I'd managed to do on my side of the pond was Warped Tour, Mayhem Festival, Self Help Fest and Rock Allegiance, those just had to do for now.
For a long time, I'd try to get these playlists the most complete I possibly could with the resources I had. To this end, I was always such a sucker for live albums, even bootleg audio, to get my playlists as close to the feeling of an actual live show as I could. Sometimes I'd use only the bands I had on my desktop, then piece in the others with setlist.fm or YouTube or whatever. Being such an overt completionist and perfectionist, I started downloading artists to round out and juice up these playlists on my iTunes. Often I'd download or even buy whole discographies just to make setlist playlists. Needless to say, this wreaked havoc on my storage space and eventually my whole desktop. I think I'm on my 4th laptop this decade.
Sometime in 2017, I made the jump to Spotify. I probably did this when I wanted to listen to Warped Tour setlist playlists from that year in the weeks leading up to

Then itβs time to figure out what the f youβre listening to. I want to know:
Hereβs what happened when I tried it out:
Time needed: 20 seconds
Last time listened to: 2015?
Thoughts: What is this EDM masterpiece that I totally forgot existed? Luna vocal queen! The drop? Amazing. All I have to say is Airplane, Love. Iβm going to play the shit out of it now.
Time needed: 1 second (that beat is hard not to recognize)
Last time listened to: A few months ago
Thoughts: SMβs deep house era was short but sweet. A top 15 EXO b-side.
Initial thought was that someone should give Chanyeol Chenβs mandarin teacher because I couldnβt understand a word of Chanyeolβs gibberish.
Also, I was today years old when I found out this was supposed to go to NCT, but Baekhyun snatched it away. Now I kind of wish it had gone to 127. They would have killed the ad-libs! But well...EXO gave us thisiconic cane grinding performance so all is good.
Time needed: 5 seconds (the Z-Z-Z-I-C-O kind of ruined the game)
Last time listened to: A few days ago whilst running?
Thoughts: BANGER. The brass, the beat and Zicoβs flooow!! I should listen to more Zico.
Time needed: 40 seconds
Last time listened to: 2015?
Thoughts: My mind is just...Jung Daehyun...vocal legend. No other vocalist in K-pop can make you cry like this man. Also, me forgetting about this songβs existence is a crime. I hate myself. Iβm going to do myself a favour and re-discover B.A.Pβs discography.
Iβd say this game was quite succesful on my part. I found two amazing re-discoveries! Now I want to see what you guys find. Happy scrolling!

Anyway I was sort of in a nostalgic mood today and f(x) was one of the first girl groups I stanned. This is probably a very popular opinion by now but their experimental electropop sound definitely made them stand out in a good way and they embodied the teen/girl crush concept beautifully. I still feel sad that they didn't release one last album before disbanding unofficially but 4 Walls certainly ended on a high note. These three albums are definitely their best works with amazing title tracks and even better B-Sides. Shared with links so the ones who want to check it out can do so :D.
1) Pink Tape - This is a highly praised kpop album and it's definitely for a good reason. Rum Pum Pum Pum was definitely very iconic but it happens to be my least favorite track on the album, which is not a bad thing because the entire album is full of good songs. Shadow is one of my favourites and it was the perfect track to be chosen for their art film. Pretty Girl sounds like an anthem it's so good and Krystal definitely stands out in this. Signal is a very pretty retro bop. Goodbye Summer Amber + Luna + Krystal ft D.O. (exo) is also another favourite, Luna's voice goes really well with D.O. and it's a very pretty bittersweet song, apparently Amber composed it and she did a fantastic job imo. No More is also a retro bop and was composed by Ariana Grande (Boyfriend Material). Ending Page ends the album on a good note and Sulli's and Victoria's voices really shine in this song.
Here's a link to the full YouTube playlist of the Pink Tape album.
2) Red Light - This one was slightly different from their last album and their title track had a much more mature theme. Red Light sounds very unique and their outfits are definitely very cool. Milk is one of my most played f(x) tracks I love the use of Indian instrumentals and the whistle. Butterfly is also a fun track to just vibe to. [All Night

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.
I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.
When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."
From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"
Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.

i've been listening to day6 nowadays and i love all of their ballads so much! it's so comforting and soothing to listen to. it's the type of music i'd play before i go to sleep and i need more of these. pls recommend more kpop ballads songs even if it is done by diff artists. :))
So, before I actually get into this, I'd like to explain a few things about, well, all of it.
