A list of puns related to "Wolfson College, Oxford"
I got my college allocation at Wolfson on Sunday after being rejected from my first and second choices and wondered how people have found their experience there? I was at first apprehensive about it being a mature and not well known college, but after more research I am happy where Iβve ended up.
So I basically just want to get more excited by the community/ents/other things I might know gain from the website! (Also any insight into their pastoral care will be beautiful)
This is true even compared to the likes of MIT, Stanford, Yale, and Princeton. Strictly talking from a global perspective, it seems as though somehow villagers in third world countries will know of Cambridge, Oxford, and Harvard yet will know nothing about Stanford, MIT etc.

I'm applying Brasenose
Is an interview for a different college a good thing? Ive had one already and now I have another invite. Im confused
So ED decisions came out yesterday and I got into Oxford but not the main campus. Im still really excited to go there, but I'm reading through the reddit posts and it seems like everyone hated going to Oxford and that there's a ton of stigma surrounding the school. Should I be worried?
Did okay in one interview so might have a chance at that college, but totally messed up the other one. Problem is, if both colleges look at both interviews itβs hopeless lol
applicant here, some details about the differences and what each school is known for would be greatly appreciated!
Was wondering if there are any other Biologists at Worcester?
Also, people who have received either invitation or rejection: has anyone got a physical letter or just emails?
This is from the student room, it shows rejections and people who have been accepted. It covers every college and course that people have submitted into it.

Scared out my mind right now because I'm an international student and the tech stuff looks terrifying but I assume that's normal. Would love to see who else got to the interview stage and hear about your college choices!
Did everyone get the email this morning??
Has anyone had econ and management interview emails from Pembroke college? Iβm still waiting for an email and itβs making me nervous as itβs so close to December?
interviews start on 8th i dont know if i should mail them because i havent received a decision yet :/
Ive been looking into Oxford college and can not find much online about the place, based on the reviews I have found they are very mixed. I guess I'm wondering if anyone has gone there and if so what was your experience like?
What's are the social scenes like? What are the quirks of your college?

My IB predicted is a 44/45 with 776 in HL, my HLs are English, Global Politics, Economics.
I've heard that all of these are of the same level essentially, apart from Oxford of course, and I think I'm well over the requirements for all and have already received an offer from Manchester, so accordingly, how should I differentiate and which one should I choose?
I also took AP courses like AP Calculus BC and AP Physics C (Mechanics) to make up for the lack of Math AA HL.
I am super ambitious and want to get the best possible uni, I applied to some places in the US too but UK is my main choice, and I also would love to be in London but I don't mind sacrificing that for a better course. My uni choice depends almost entirely on uni prestige, course prestige and job opportunities from the given college or the given course, so don't worry about location too much in a suggestion.
I had my Oxford interviews already and I think they went fairly well, but in case it doesn't work out I want to know what's a plan B.
Anyone heard back about an interview yet? Applied for chemistry there and just wondering if anyone had heard anything.
i got interviews for my first college choice but then i got invited for interviews at a second college before i interviewed at my first college?? what does this mean/does it mean anything??
