A list of puns related to "White Claw Hard Seltzer"
Hello, I have quit alcohol for 194 days and Iβm getting those White Claw/Hard Seltzer cravings. What drinks are there that are similar, but non-alcoholic/zero alcohol?
Are these ok on Keto? Can I drink 8 of these a day as long as I keep it within my macros?
they seem more carby and sugary then other ones but the new variety pack they have seems interesting
also, what else besides vodka would taste good in terms of mixing hard liquor with hard seltzers.i was thinkin about tryin somethin like bourbon or tequila.i usually drink rum, bourbon, vodka or tequila.i mixed a couple shots of jack daniels once with one of those lemonade truly things and it tasted pretty good
How do you guys think White Claw compares to the other hard seltzers (Truly, High Noon, Press, etc)? At the grocery store there are so many alternative brands doing the same thing with similar flavors.
This website lets you rate all the popular seltzers.

Remember Four Lokos??? Buzz was a 99, I couldnβt even finish one whole can.

Sometimes I just want to enjoy a cool drink without my tongue feeling like it's under attack. I'm realizing now there really aren't a ton of social drinks (ie, not like taking a shot) that aren't carbonated, which makes me stand by this point even more.
I've seen 12 packs of light beer as cheap as $7. I've never seen a 12 pack of White Claw cheaper than $15. What's up with that? How can hard seltzer be more expensive than beer? Surely beer is more expensive to make as there's more ingredients.
Title says it all. I've done a little bit of research on how they create the alcohol in the seltzers and they cold ferment sugar (malt liquor style), but in my experience it will be very tough to get the clean taste that those seltzers have. At best it will taste like watered-down wine.
So I'm just going to be lazy and use some decent 80 proof vodka.
Basic idea:
What do you think r/Homebrewing?
UPDATE: For those curious, I went the route of using 80 proof Vodka that I detailed above and the results are fantastic! Tastes almost exactly like Truly's, maybe a little closer to Perrier (which I actually prefer). We did not have to add any extra sugar, and ended up soaking as many strawberries as the vodka could cover for about four hours before straining them out and adding the vodka to the remaining water in the keg and carbonating.
are these lighter tasting then other hard seltzers? i bought a variety pack and had a watermelon flavored one yesterday and i usually mix hard seltzers with a shot of vodka but it seems like the vodka overpowered the seltzer and all i could taste was vodka.and i used the same amount i usually do
White Claw Seltzer is one of my favorite brands of hard seltzer on the market, but I am curious about the type of alcohol that it contains. I know it doesn't have hops or anything like a beer, and that the alcohol comes from cold brewed sugar cane or something. Is it more of a type of vodka than a wine or beer? Why is it called a malt beverage? I have the same question about the other brands of seltzer as well.
Any input would be nice : )
Does anyone know if this is bad for UA levels? I see its low carb, zero sugar. Any input would be awesome.
