A list of puns related to "Warm compress"
Should I be using a warm compress for my blind pimples? Or would a cold compress be better?
Sometimes i feel like my eyes are more irritated after a warm compress than before. When I have strong dry eye symptoms it gives me alot of relief, however when I just do it routinely and have almost no dry eye symptoms it sometimes irritates my eyes. As far as I know one is supposed to do warm compresses and lid wips consistently 2x a day. I'm not sure how I should proceed.. do lid wipes 2x and warm compress only in morning and when symptoms are bad? I feel like I should do it at least once.. Any advice/experience? Thankyou so much
when my symptoms were worse I didn't have this issue only as my eyes are getting better
I have been using a Bruder mask as warm compress for almost 2 weeks. 1x day for 5 minutes at a time (later in evening). Then using lid wipes 10 minutes afterward. My doctor gave it to me to help with MGD/Dry Eyes.
The first day my eyes seemed very dry after using it. Then for the next 4 days it worked great, I felt better afterwards and didn't feel I needed to use refresh eye drops as often. At the point of using the mask for 1 week I notice my eyes and eyelids are more puffed up than before I started using the mask. Now the more I use it, my eyes just feel very dry afterwards and my left eye is very puffed up all around and has been itchy/burning all day!
It seems the warm compress is causing inflammation in my eyes. Should I be using a cold compress afterwards to prevent from inflammation?
Has anyone else experienced puffy eyelids/puffy eyes from using a warm compress or heat mask? What did you do to fix/cure it?
I know the positive effects of using warm compresses and was hoping it would help fix my eyes. But after making my eyes feel worse; Are there any negative long term side effects if I continue using a heat mask or warm compress every day?
Iβve literally lived with a blind pimple for 6 months. It was just this little bump on the surface that was just sitting there, but I didnβt bother with it because the pain was minimal and I thought itβd resolve on itβs own, well it didnβt. Fast forward to 2 days ago I kinda tried popping it and it got inflamed and now itβs kinda visible and itβs pissing me off. Now Iβm looking for a solution that isnβt me going to a dermatologist cause quite frankly I canβt afford a cortisone shot. So iβm asking, can a warm compress help bring it to a head or an ice compress. Someone help me out please
What should I use as a warm compress for my Bartholin cyst? A warm washcloth and water?
What are your tips if you have gone through a cyst like this too?
Does anyone have any experience with this? Iβve been using warm compresses consistently the past month or so and it seems like my vision driving at night has gotten worse - more glare and streaking - and Iβm worried I may have warped my corneas?
Note: This post was originally posted at /r/watercooling but the information is relevant to anyone that is replacing thermal pads
I made a post where I recommended heating up your thermal pads so you can torque down your GPU to your waterblock better.
I'm writing a follow-up because after revisiting my card when it was warm and torquing the bolts down more, my memory temperatures dropped form 80C to 55-60C. This was because the compression on the pads was poor since they were cold and harder. If you are intersted, I made a post awhile back about memory pads vs. compression.
TL;DR of link below: Thermal pad compression is required to get full thermal conductivity rating out of thermal pads

Because of this, I was able to overclock my memory higher. Originally, going past 1250 Mhz would result in lower scores. Now I can clock my memory up to 1700 Mhz

If you are interested in seeing me test my memory, I ran several test at different settings in increments of +100 Mhz here.

How did +1700 Mhz compare to stock? It was just +2.2%, but that 2.2% was free.

My personal highest score has also gone up.

Using this. When I heat it as instructed it has no effect - when I heat it for 5-10 seconds longer I can feel liquid come out of my eyes after 8-9 minutes, and my eyes feel more lubricated for the rest of the day.
However, after doing this for a couple of days I've noticed sort of off-colour patches in the whites of my eyes, most visible after the compress. I wonder if I'm somehow slightly injuring the surface of my eyes with the heat - is this likely/possible?
Had a similar issue with flannels - ineffective until I gradually increased the temperature until it felt like my glands were expressing - but ended up slightly burning the sin around my eyes.
Any advice on how to get the right temperature without causing injury? I feel like my judgment is completely off.
I have a bit of anxiety about using my warm compress (a specialized mask). It's mainly around googling things about corneal warping. I've been using it for about a week and find it helps. I was wondering if anyone has anything thoughts on the following:
Because of the structure of my facial bones surrounding my eyes, my eyes have a very deeply set appearance. As a result of this, I have not been able to find a warm compress that makes sufficient contact with my eyelids. The three masks I have tried (Heyedrate, Bruder, and Thermalon) seem to lay mostly flat against my face instead of hanging concave.
What are some brands of warm compresses that could work for my facial structure and relieve my problems with MGD?
Side note: I feel vulnerable posting that picture, since my eyes have always made me feel like an ugly caveman. Please donβt comment negative things about the way I look up close.
