A list of puns related to "Volkswagen Jetta (A6)"
Sveiki, turiu/turejau minciu pirkti VW Jetta GLI is amerikos 2019-2020 metu, yra pora variantu autopliuse, tik pastebejau viena dalykla - vw jetta yra skirta tik amerikos rinkai, europoje jomis neprekiauja. Mano klausimas butu - tiek KASKO tiek islaikymas bus brangesnis vien del daliu trukumo?

My VW has trouble switching gears and stalls most of the time but it is drivable.
I believe this because the mechanic told me that I do need a new transmission but just don't drive on the highway.
I am going to get a new transmission next month and know it will cost about 2500 - 3500 but when I'm driving if I go long enough, eventually the engine light flashes after I push the break a few times.
I had this checked on the code scanner and it was only a transmission code. So my question is, is the engine light be flashing because of the transmission and can I still drive it until I get a new one after the flashing stops?
EDIT: ALSO could this be an actually engine problem even though no codes are shown other than for the transmission?

Been looking for my first car and I'm just wondering if any of you have experience with this and could tell me about it's reliably, I really don't know too much about cars to be honest and I'm going to a dealership so any advice on what to look for would be much appreciated.
Around 2 weeks ago as we were driving our 2015 Jetta started randomly sputtering. The best way I can think to describe it is that the car started jolting as we were accelerating and didn't stop for about 5 minutes. After it happened the car drove fine.
We took the car to our Volkswagen dealership who gave it a clear bill of health and were unable to find any issues that would be causing this.
After our trip to the dealership I had about a 4 hour road trip across my state for work. On the way to my destination the car did the same thing again for about 5 minutes. It was so bad that at one point I thought we were going to need a tow truck. We turned the car off and on, drove slow with the flashers on for a little bit but ultimately drove the remaining 3 hours at a regular speed without issue. On the way back from the trip the same thing occurred for about 5 minutes again but after that we were able to make it the whole way home without issue.
Since that road trip I've only driven the car local and have only noticed the issue reappear twice. We are going to get it looked at again at Volkswagen but I'm curious if anyone has dealt with any similar issue and have any thought on what it might be as well as the severity.
It almost feels as if the car is working something out itself internally, like it has a cold or something, which I know sounds crazy.
Thank you!
I currently have a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta SE with turbo that I genuinely love to drive, its very smooth and has been pretty reliable up until about 2 months ago I noticed the dreaded 85k+ mile oil loss curse (essentially i have to top off once or twice in between oil changes. There's no leaking, no one has found the issue).
Aside from this one issue I have been considering just trading in for newer year & trim, but Honda's have also caught my eye. I believe in terms of price point they're fairly similar. Although I am the second owner of the Jetta and havent had any major issues until now 7 years later, Im still a bit weary of their general reliability. At the same time I'd hate to jump brands and end up despising the Honda.
Any help or opinions? I am planning on doing a test drive in the Honda sometime this week hopefully :)
All I can find is left hand drive OEM floor mats for 2018 Volkswagen Jetta. I live in Fiji so if you provide a link where they ship to Fiji.
My dad is interested in buying a 2019 Jetta but unsure about the maintenance costs. How comparable is it to a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla? He never has owned a German car so it is all new to him! Thank you!
