A list of puns related to "North American International Auto Show"
it'd be sick if they got a deal with GM or Ford to Neutral drop a new Camaro or something like that during the expo.

I hope I'm writing this in a way that isn't against the rules. If it is, just let me know. I'm not trying to brag and sound like a total dick, but merely to brag in the nicest way possible (if that makes sense)
Anyway, I go to a public school in a rather small town in southeast Michigan. We aren't known as the best school. We aren't exactly a poor district, just not really noteworthy. I'm not exactly an artist either. I can envision something, but getting it on paper is where I struggle, which is why digital arts might appeal to me a bit more.
Every year, our Advanced Digital Imaging class submits posters for the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) poster contest. Keep in mind, this contest also has legitimate art schools entering their poster designs. These such schools have Digital Imaging classes for up to 3 hours a day. And my school has a mere hour of class time a day with about 2 weeks to make it.
I just got the news today that mine won best theme at the show this year, ($250 prize with tickets and my poster put on display at the show) which is only a 1 category prize (no 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes) which makes me that much more ecstatic.
I'm not really sure what else to say, so here is a link to my poster: https://imgur.com/VEN3zMS
I just got an email to RSVP the Tesla booth on the 13th at the NAIAS in Detroit, before the general public. Anyone else going?
"Tesla is pleased to invite you to an exclusive customer reception to preview our stand ahead of the public opening of the NAIAS in Detroit.
Join Tesla executives and other Tesla enthusiasts to see P85D, Model S and our latest show exhibits. Light refreshments and drinks will be served."
I went to the industry preview day exactly a week ago, and didn't know that this was permissible, but I saw it quite a lot. Only managed this picture though: http://i.imgur.com/u8qZCbc.jpg
the 2014 NAIAS opens today. What do you guys think of what's debuting? So far I've only seen the pics and specs for the F150 and the new C7 Z06 and am rather disappointed in each. I think the F150 continues the trend of full size pickups looking like vehicular cock extenders (what was so wrong with my grandfathers 2001 Ranger?). Just cartoonish in how exaggerated they are. I am curious about this 2.7 ecoboost. I hope its a v6 but I suspect its a I-4. As far as the Z06 goes, I'm disappointed to see the LS7 V8 go. That was my all time favorite GM street engine and I think one of the greatest engines of all time. Big, normally aspirated, still managed 7000 rpms (with pushrods!), and a Le Mans winning race heritage; just doesn't get any better than that. Glad it lives on a bit longer in the new Z28 Camaro.
This will be my first time visiting. I'll be focusing a bit of time on the Tesla model X as I'm a huge fan of Elon, as well as Acura's new TLX that is launching here because that is the brand I work for. I'll try to take some pictures for you all. This will give me a chance to get a hands on feel on a lot of the competition. Anything exciting from your brands or in general that I should see?
I got to go the show early this year, here are lots of pictures, many concept cars included.

NAIAS is about 4 hours away from me and I'm debating driving up to Detroit at 6 in the morning to spend a day there. Is it worth it and have any of you been and can share your experience?
Anyone think Tesla will start attending again this year now that they have a new car on the horizon again?
They've been absent since they started having trouble with Michigan's legislators.
