I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

I like playing/reading visual novels and I prefer experiencing them in handheld/undocked mode rather than on the TV. I think it's because of the "book" feeling, I like to hold what I'm reading in my hands.

This also happens with other games where I prefer to use the touch screen, for example with Into the breach (and I guess it will happen with Advance Wars as well).

The thing is that when it comes to audio I prefer listening to VNs using my external audio equipment (just for the audio quality makes perfect sense to me).

Since the Switch made it possible to use bluetooth audio, I connect it to my AVR while playing in portable mode: in front of my turned-off television, but with the audio cranked up in the room.

Ok, so: is this usual? Do you folks do the same?

And some technical questions:

• Do you play it stereo (2.1) or use some kind of Dolby Prologic processing?
• I feel that bluetooth lag is very obvious, any tip? Doesn't matter a lot when playing VNs, but it would be awful with other genres.
