I’m just wondering what kind of performance people are seeing with v p n connections. I can’t access any of my corporate resources unless I use our VPN. Is the latency causing any latency issues?

I have received a credible tipoff that one or more so-called "involuntary celibates" has been abusing a popular internet virtual private network service (either Avira Phantom or Zen Mate) to stalk and impersonate various Reddit users that has resulted in a massive suspension wave, which have inadvertently affected many innocent Redditors.
Because of that, you might need to stay off from logging on to your account for a while if you have been using the service. If you had at one point accessed your account on there over the last few months, chances are you are going to be hit with an errant sitewide suspension where you suddenly can no longer be able to post, comment, etc.

**Edit: The tip-off is indeed real because my alternative account (/u/cyberanakin) has been suspended for allegedly violating rules at multiple accounts 10 hours ago. This is despite the account has been sitting silent for over one year. I am able to confirm that I had been one of the ranges over the past 3 months, although it remains possible that the "involuntary celibates" in question has went on services other than as mentioned above.

The timestamp of the suspension correlated to the following threads from anti-incel subs.

Therefore I have to heed my own advice and stay off Reddit for a while until the problem is fixed.
Edit: It appears that my main now has been suspended, ironically after my alt has been lifted. The only unfortunate difference is the appeal for the main is being rejected for about 3 times already, likely by automated bots that review appeal tickets. The FBI has now been warned about the development regarding the involuntary celibate harassments on Reddit.
I have an android device (I know google's bad, I plan to switch my mobile OS), and I currently am subscribed to a virtual private network. I recently was trying to install Netguard, and found that android can only use the virtual private network or the Firewall. My service can't do SOCKS5 w/o logging in.
From my understanding, any tracking software in my phone is just sending my data from a fake location. Is this preferable to a firewall that blocks trackers, but my real IP is visible while browsing? If there's an option to combine the two, I'd like to hear it.
It immensely slows down internet traffic for people that need to remote connect to their machines/desktops on campus.
