But be careful! Your shovel will break after finding empty spots 3 times, and you'll be out of the game. If you find a mine, you'll blow up and are also out of the game!

I used to be pretty active on this sub, and then fell off reddit for several months but now I want to do more challenges. I’m currently in an uber so I can’t do a big challenge, but I figured I can make something up.

No this is not homework it’s to test if the people here are cultured.
Recently I accepted that I'm not the main character in other people's lives. I'm just a side character. I don't make anyone happy, my presence wouldn't be missed if I left but people wouldn't celebrate me leaving either, I'm simply someone who fills up space. Someone who isn't significant for anyone but adds a little bit of spice to people's lives.
Now, it is a bit difficult to accept this and seeing that there are not a lot of side characters around. Nearly everyone is a main character in someone else's life. I don't need reassurance, I don't need "but you are a main character!!!!", I know reality perfectly.
What I want is examples of side characters in media: sports competitions, TV shows, films... People who don't play a major role in other people's lives, but aren't a burden either. If you removed them, their environment would lose a bit of spice, but would still maintain its essence.
I'll give a Vanity award to the example I like most, when I arrive home from school (around 7 hours). Thank you very much!
