It appears that Gulf will start filming his lakron on the 15th. He also has a vdo scheduled today. Let's continue to send him our love & encouragment which he so deserves. Let's make it a point to let him know that we support him & his new venture.
For those who have mixed his previous work with his indfividual work/events, let's not do that. Let's leave the Ship in its' place. If you think Gulf & Mew are together privately leave it there or leave it out of this vd.

VDO question, studying for RHCSA.
I created a vdo logical drive, made it to a PV, added to VG, and sat a LV on top of it. I mounted this as a xfs file system to a directory for testing. I added the following to fstab:
/dev/mapper/vdo1 /xfsvdo1 xfs x-systemd.requires=vdo.service 0 0
Performing mount -av, everything works I can see the directory mounted to the FS using df -tH. However, when I reboot, /dev/mapper/vdo1 disappears. When I do a vdo list the logical volume doesn't show up. I have to do a lsblk -f on the partition I originally set it up on to see the vdo FSTYPE, but vdo1, still doesn't exist.
Here is what I used to create the vdo logical volume:
sudo vdo create --device=/dev/nvme0n4 --name=vdo1 --vdoSlabSize 128 --vdoLogicalSize 16G
When I try to create vdo1 again, the system still notices vdo1 still exist on the partition. I have perform a wipefs to completely remove it and remount it. However, it does not show up after a reboot :(.
Should I mount vdo logical volumes using the UUID instead?

oh, and in case you were curious, Vee-Dee-Ohh is how we are pronouncing VDO, which is intended to sound like "video" when said out-loud. This name was selected based on community feedback and polling.
I know that VDO.NINJA is a browser source and that Snap Camera generally works with video capture devices. I thought a nice workaround might be using NDI and Virtual Camera in some way, but I've never gotten Snap Camera to work with VDO.Ninja, has anyone messed with this and figured out some steps I'm missing?
Hey guys, VDO ninja is a great piece of software, however, I am wondering how I can stream my desktop audio to my guest? Is this possible?
Basically, I would like my guest to hear the music and other audio coming through VDO as I am livestreaming with them.
