Every night without fail I watch the Sopranos. Over and over lol. Last year it was Breaking Bad. The two years before that, The Office. Can anyone else relate?
My wife and I are very busy people between us both working, having a 1yr old, and me going to school. When we have time, we sometimes watch a show together that we both agree on, and only watch it together. Our lastest series is Wanda Vision.
After coming home from class at 10pm, we both agree to watch the season finale. No spoilers. The runtime of the episode is about 49 minutes total. Without credits it times out around 42 minutes. At about 32 minutes into the episode, my wife says "I am fading, I don't think I can stay awake." To which I acknowledge with, "Okay." Captivated by the shows content I chose to continue watching. The show continues to play until the ending is reached.
The next day my wife asks me if I watched the rest of the episode or paused it when she fell asleep. I told her I continued watching the episode until it finished. My response brought an angered and hurt reaction. We had a heated discussion and then took some time to process the situation. Later she brought up the topic of "Netflix Cheating" in meme format.
After reading an article on what "Netflix Cheating" is, I felt like the situation deserved re-thinking. There was a moment in time where I could have definitely paused the episode from an implicit comment my wife made.
Prior to this moment we've not made any rules regarding watching shows together if one of us falls asleep. However falling asleep has happened a couple of times before with movies and without issue. This happening on a Season Finale of a show we both enjoy seems to raise the stakes.
AITA for finishing the remainder of the Season Finale when my wife fell asleep during the episode?
For the sake of people who haven't seen Wanda Vision, please try to not to post any spoilers.
Obviously we know that the books >!gave figures from 20,000 years up to 50,000 years or more!<. How far in the future do we think the Foundation TV Series is? Do we think they know where Earth is? Is this even a universe where Earth ever existed- could it be like the Star Wars Universe?

As you all know many red states are pulling unemployment early. This can happen to a blue state too.
Even if we gain employment we should stick by each other's side, because karma goes around and picks up force.
Divided we mean nothing to these individual state governments. They can handle us with ease.
United and holding not just state level but also federal level govenrment accountable we can make an impact. We must work together, and we must do more than just boycott the companies responsible. We must boycott everything we can unless it's a necessity and even then we should choose the companies who did not cause this. Other companies may lobby the government to put the $300 back in our pockets so that they can return to business as usual. Don't spend, unless you have to!
We must not treat this like a little thing. We must treat it as if the government and I mean all the way to the federal level has stolen from us. Don't let them dust their hands on this and say oh but it's their legal right to opt-out - it's their moral duty to protect us and they're failing to do so.
I'm not in as bad a situation as some. At worst I move in with family and finish my studies while looking for the work I can do.
The work they're talking about is mostly work I cannot reasonably perform.
Do not think of yourself at this time. Do not take their bs. We know you're not lazy. We know there's just some jobs that some people cannot reasonably perform. Fight for what is right. Many will tell you to just get a job or that you're just lazy. That you just want free handouts. That's never been me! But I do want a chance to find a reasonable Job. The corona virus isn't over. My aunt is in the e.r. right now with covid.
Everyone's saying oh it's no big deal she's always been sickly. Wtf! Why do people say stuff like that that's more reason to be concerned! I've realized those words come from the heart, a selfish heart.
Don't be selfish, just because you have a job now, or living in a blue state. Fight for those who don't yet have a job. Those who are desperate and afraid. Once you show the blue states that they can just strip people's unemployment away just 1 blue state might consider trying the same thing and it might be your state.
Voice your discontent. Let everyone know this is not okay. Since when did it become okay to victimize a small portion?

Let's face it, Drifter and Spider would be a great name for a series and it would be fun payback for the Spider to have to deal with Drifter's nonsense incessantly as the Awoken try to hunt them both down.
For context, the Spider is losing ground to House Light and now that Queen Mara's back, she doesn't like how he's treated her little bro, so he's getting Drifter to smuggle him out.

The clash of Mara, Drifter and Spider's personalities would be nothing short of permanent insanity. I'd love to see at least a lore card or two detailing the journey as Crazy Uncle Drifter tells Spider rambling stories about eating Cabal for breakfast in the Dark Age, while Spider wonders whether he ought to have taken his chances and stayed in the Reef.
