A list of puns related to "Tube bending"
And is the bent tubing annealed?

The second part of our post on working with rigid tubing is live on our blog. We look at bending, cutting and chamfering your tube as well as a few tools and tips to make it easier.
Hi all, this is my first post in the group but won't be my last. Here's my question, do you guys know of any companies that provide custom pipe bending services? (even better if I could design my pipe requirements on some sort of app or Web app). I would.d also need what I call reduction joints which would take 4 input pipes and output one pipe. The application is custom automotive exhaust piping. I can weld myself. Tia
Hey all! I have a lot of various hardline, custom loop liquid cooling equipment on my hands, and need to get rid of it. I'd prefer to sell most of this in bulk, but there's no problem parting it out! I'm local to Long Island, shipping to lower 48. Just let me know!
Prices are OBO and without shipping; I'm open to trades, for whatever you think may be fair. Here's what I have (pictures in order):
All fittings are for hardline 12mm OD tubing. PM for individual pricing, asking $120 for the lot.

So I bought the Arctic liquid cooler ii 360 a week ago and installed it like this. Later on I learnt that teflon insulated tubes (the ones this AIO has) should not be bent too much. Is bending it this much ok?
Hello again fine humans,
A while ago I posted about doing my first water cooled build and I got some great and helpful feedback. I am now to the portion where I am bending tubes and such. The 90 degree bends have been easy enough to sort out, but the more complex tubes with multiple bends have been kicking my rear end. Anyone have any tips/suggestions on pulling some of these off? Thanks in advanced.
Mr. Nurse
I am selling various parts and accessories to get started with water cooling. Iβm looking to unload this as a full lot, thus I wonβt be asking for much. Everything is brand new in box. I just never got around to making a custom water loop.

I want to practice bending an OPEN. Just for practice and to go through the motions over and over.
How do i plan out the pattern so that i only use one 4ft tube? No cuts.
Maybe a better question is βwhat size font and what size glass should i use to bend and OPEN size using one stick? no splices no cuts.
Any other practice tips are welcome.
For my custom loop design, I think I want to use 90Β° and 45Β° fittings instead of bending the hard tubes. I figure it might look more asthetically pleasing but I also think opting for bending the tubes is also pretty nice.
What I mean by this is never bending the tubes (when possible) and using fittings whenever I need to change the direction the tube is going.
I know it gets expensive this way since you end up using wayyyyy more fittings than if you were just going to bend the tubes, but I was wondering what you guys think looks nicer.
Iβve got a hands on test for a maintenance pipe fitting gig Monday and while most of it is easy (cut/bevel pipe, thread another piece, etc) I also have to bend tubing. Itβs just two simple bends, a 90 and a 45, but Iβve only ever bent tubing for government projects if you get my drift so precision wasnβt a concern. Questions I had: Does the tubing bend take out the same as a regular fitting (ID x 1 1/2 for the 90 and ID x 5/8 for the 45)? Logic says it would but I still feel better asking someone who knows And any advice on skipping rookie mistakes so I donβt look quite as inept as I am? lol
Thanks in advance and stay safe out there guys
I have 16mm acrylic tubes with a 12mm soft silicone insertion tube. Its not tight as I think it should be. I've gone through 18ft of 16mm acrylic tubing.... Could this be my mistake?? I keep getting kinks..
Edit: This is the tube I'm using and it is definitely not snug... Dammit this is my problem. It just goes in and you can rotate it while inside. The acrylic tube is 5/8βod x 1/2βid And the insert is from Amazon.

Hello, today i got the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 and it was a little bit of a struggle to install it with the tubes down inside my beQuiet PURE BASE 500DX. I did my best to not bent the tubes too much, do you think this is fine?

Tubes are not touching the GPU, only slightly touching the GPU power cable.
Im quite happy with the stress test temps so far, went from 80-83 to 71C during the stress test (5900X). My prev cooler was Noctua NH-D15S
