Draft Trades: I just used a draft trade value chart for the draft trades to try and make them close to the same values as possible. I only did trades in the first round.
Trade 1: Jets trade 4th and 10th pick to the Jags to get pick number 1.
Trade 2: Falcons trade pick pick 17 and 74 for the Browns 13th.
Trade 3: Patriots trade pick 20 for the Bengals 29th pick, 93rd pick and 131st pick.
Draft:
Jets 1: Hutchinson (Edge). The Jets traded the 4th and 10th pick to the Jags for the number 1 overall pick. Jets go big for the dominant edge player that we all know Saleh desperately wants.
Lions 2: Kayvon Thibodeaux (Edge). Lions get a dominant edge rusher that is a perfect scheme fit for their team to build around and combine with the Okwara brothers and Harris to create a deep and very strong group of edge rushers.
Texans 3: Kyle Hamilton (S). Texans opt to take arguably the best prospect in this class, regardless of the position value, to help a defense that struggled mightily on the back end.
Jaguars 4: Evan Neal (OT). The Jaguars still get the guy they were going to take at 1, while also picking up the 10th pick from the Jets. With Jawaan Taylor being in his last year and being abysmal in the run game, the Jags find their RT of the future to pair with Walker Little at LT. Recently, I questioned the Jags taking Neal because they have Little and Taylor, but this helps redefine who they are upfront and gives them the potential to have a dominant tackle in both the run game and passing game.
Giants 5: Ikem Ekwonu (OT/OG). NYG miss out on Neal, but take the next best guy in Ekwonu. He should help change the demeanor and talent of this line, whether it is at OT or OG.
Panthers 6: Kenny Pickett (QB). As much as the Panthers need an o-line, they need to figure out QB even more and Matt Rhule would sell his soul for one it feels like. Panthers take the best out of the class in Pickett and hope that his mobility can help make up for some of the o-line concerns in the short term.

Here are some simplified terms of the expansion draft:

Took a look at what I feel like is a pretty strong consensus of quarterbacks in the top-6 or so. There's some occasional sprinklings of other guys like Zappe, Coan, Glass, or others, but this is the group that seems most noteworthy at the moment.

The Season's End is approaching pretty quickly, and as teams get slowly locked into their playoff positions, the time for fixing a team's needs is already upon their offices, and they turn to the college scheme, which is about to finish their season with a championship game. So, let's do this mock, where I'll use a combination of realistic scenarios and my pick choices for teams. Let's go.
1.1 - EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux - Oregon, New York Giants (VIA Jacksonville; 2022 1.1 and 2022 Third Rounder for NYG 1.08 and 1.05)
How do you even start to fix the Jaguars? Sure you'll be able to grab Kayvon Thibodeaux here, but that doesn't help what's going on the other side of the ball, with Trevor Lawrence, your generational QB getting thrown to the dogs. You take this chance to get two top 10 picks, instead of one where you can benefit from getting your team more talent off the bat. Now for the Giants: Thibodeaux is the dream. A 3-4 Chandler Jones-like Pass Rusher that can downright dominate and redefine a defensive front. Having Ojulari, Williams, Lawrence and Thibodeaux can justify the Giants trade up, and despite Gettleman being fairly incompetent, I'm sure they can throw some money at the Guards in this market to fill up that hole. (They still have their early 2nd rounder!)
Yeah I get Giants fans won't love this one, but there's not really a lot of places you can go with this team. I'd rather take a player like Kayvon and grab a stud on OL with the early second. Worth remembering that Gates IS coming back, and they can very well get an instant starter at RG in the thirties while plugging the hole at LG in free agency. That's how much the first overall pick is worth, and it may be worth it in the long run.
UPDATE: I'd probably prefer to go Neal and Linderbaum there. Phenomenal. :D
1.2 - EDGE Aidan Hutchinson - Michigan, Detroit Lions
The Lions invested a good share of their picks last year on OL/DL, but there's a slight hole of talent that remains at the EDGE Rusher position where Hutchinson would be perfect for them. He's an in-state talented pass rusher who's a fantastic leader on defence, with some phenomenal tape that shows him demolishing the passing game of opposing teams. Having him and Okwara on the line will be reminiscent of the Ojabo-Hutch duo which was the most dominant pair in this year's college football season.
1.3 - EDGE George Karlaftis - Purdue, Houston Texans
Three pass rushers in a row. OKAY. Truth is, Tytus Howa

2022 NFL DRAFT OFFENSIVE TACKLE RANKINGS
Charles is the most athletic OT in this class. He has exceptional feet and good quickness. He is not without fault as he does get beat, most of the time it is defenders that overpower him. I think thatβs in an area he will continue to get better only listed at 285 lbs a year ago. In 2021 Cross continued to show progression and was more consistent than he was a season ago.
2021 PFF: RUN BLOCK β 87.2 PASS BLOCK β 84.9
Neal is a junior that started at left guard in 2019 and Right Tackle in 2020. He transitioned and looked more than comfortable at left tackle in 2021. A mammoth lineman is better at the run game than in pass protection at this point. Has very good second-level quickness and is a good athlete for a player his size. His pass sets looked good this year but still would like to see more balance on the ground too much and gets in trouble lunging.
2021 PFF: RUN BLOCK β 80.4 PASS BLOCK β 80.7
Ekwonu played left Tackle and left Guard for NC State. A physical road grader that pancakes defenders into submission. He has explosive power with good quickness and athleticism. he is always looking to hit any defender in his sight. Ekwonu biggest weakness coming into the season was his pass protection and he has made major strides in that area in 2021.
2021 PFF: RUN BLOCKβ 93.8 PASS BLOCK β 78.3
Penning is not the same athlete that former teammate and 2021 third-round choice Spencer Brown was, but he still looks to be the better prospect. Penning is a mauler in the run game. He has done a good job in pass protection stoning defenders as soon as he gets his hands on you.
2021 PFF: RUN BLOCK - 97.2 PASS BLOCK β 87.0
Petit-Frere started at right tackle for the Buckeyes in 2020 and did not give up a sack. I like his athleticism and movement skills, and he does give good effort. Still, raw not a natural knee bender plays too high and loses balance at times. He moved to left tackle in 2021 despite giving up more pressures this season I thought he showed better footwork and balance.
2021 PFF: RUN BLOCK β 84.3 PASS BLOCK β 60
Raimann played tight end his first two years at Central Michigan but in 2020 played left tackle

... keep reading on reddit β‘> Right now, the team that gets the No. 1 overall pick will have an immense influence on who goes No. 1. This is not a draft that currently has a no-doubter guy at the top, a la Zion Williamson, Cade Cunningham or Anthony Davis. Rather, I would say there is a good group of four players at the top in Jabari Smith Jr., Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren and Jaden Ivey. Team needs will play a role, given the preponderance of big men in that group. And simply put, itβll be an eye-of-the-beholder situation.
> I tried my best to realistically project who will declare and who wonβt, but we obviously have nothing in the way of answers there yet. In that vein, if you donβt see a player here, that doesnβt necessarily mean that I think said player is bad. Rather, I may have just decided not to push said underclassman through to the draft.
> The draft order is based on league-wide rankings as of Jan. 3. Team needs are not accounted for, although if there was something of an interesting fit, I did make sure to note that. There are 58 picks in the 2022 NBA Draft, as the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks have forfeited their second-round picks this year due to free-agency tomfoolery and shenanigans.
Only including excerpts for the Top 15 + Jaden Hardey at 21st (Since both Jovic & Hardey were mentioned in the Top 13 of the Mid-season Consensus Board on this sub)
> I have Smith at No. 1 entering the new year, but itβs a razor-thin margin between him, Banchero and Holmgren. Why Smith? I think his upside is juuuuust a bit higher than the other two if everything breaks right with his game...Smith profiles well as a good teamβs second-best scoring option who can also be a strong defensive player. Thatβs a scalable player to winning situations, and he fits exceedingly well in Detroit given the Pistonsβ disastrous shooting this year.
> Heβs still very strongly in the mix to go No. 1. Heβs as polished a mismatch

Power Girl is in that strange category of superheroes who aren't quite iconic enough to be household names, but can still spark arguments among hardcore fans. Yet most of her notoriety stems from exactly one thing. And if you're a fan, you probably already know what I mean.
First making her debut in All-Star Comics #58 in February 1976, Power Girl (also known as Karen Starr and Kara Zor-L) first came to prominence as a member of the superhero team "The Justice Society of America". She can fly, she's superhumanly strong, and she has x-ray vision and heat visionβwhich you might recognize as Superman's powers. That's because she's also Superman's cousin, and a fellow survivor of the planet Krypton's destruction.
Now, even if you're only casually aware of the Superman comics, you might know that Superman has a younger female cousin who also fights crime. But doesn't she call herself "Supergirl"?
Well, yes. And that's where it gets complicated.
See: Power Girl is actually an alternate version of Supergirl from the alternate world of "Earth 2"βwhich is technically a whole universe, and was created before there was an "Earth 1". And, strangely enough, that's probably the least confusing thing about this whole mess.
So why is there an alternate version of Supergirl?
Answering that question actually requires diving head-first into the bizarre history of American superhero comics and their odd relationship with American history.
See: the American comic book industry really took off at the height of the Great Depression, when cheap entertainment was in high demand. Comic books were an appealing source of affordable entertainment for American kids struggling through the Depression, and superhero stories were a great escapist fantasy for people who needed a spark of hope in a time of hardship and uncertainty. This led to a famously fertile period in the history of American comic books known as "The Golden Age of Comics", which lasted roughly from 1938 to 1945. And National Allied Publications (eventually renamed "DC Comics") emerged as one of the biggest comic book publishers in the world during that period.
For various reasons, superhero comics briefly dipped in popularity after World War II, forcing DC Comics to cancel several of their monthly comic books and retire their lead characters. A-Listers like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman survived, but mid-tier characters li

I was curious to see who was the best player born on each day of the year. It turned out to be a bit more of a struggle than I thought it was going to be, so I decided to simply sort it by WAR. Does that mean that sometimes a better player got left off the list for a player who simply had a longer career? Absolutely. But WAR is a nice simple stat. So, here's the list!

Playing alongside AD has unlocked the best in pass rushersβjust see numbers from Dante Fowler, Clay Matthews, and Leonard Floydβso despite being out of his prime, Miller has frightening potential. Suffice to say, the Rams are all in this year.
2. | Packers | +4 | 7-1 | I still can't believe we won that game
3. | Cardinals | -2 | 7-1 | Ouch. That one stings a little. Anytime Aaron Rodgers walks into State Farm Stadium, you better mark your calendar, as itβs guaranteed to be an amazing game. Unusually though, the Cardinals were on the losing side of an exciting finish. There are many positives to take away from this game, such as goal line defense and ability to continue fighting through adversity. Absolute kudos to the Packers, who seemed to take the Vikings game-plan of quick passes to the numbers and inside zone runs, and executed it perfectly to overpower a lacking rush defense. The Red Sea needs to pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and appreciate that we are still 7-1 with the pressure of being perfect fading away. Enjoy the ride amigos.
4. | Cowboys | +2 | 6-1 | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHvZ93QrZnY
5. | Bills | -1 | 5-2 | After a slow first half, the Bills remembered they were playing the Dolphins and kicked it into high gear. With a last minute rushing TD, Josh Allen has tied the (likely to be broken by Lamar Ja |
Hey again /r/mls I'm back with part four of the state soccer teams. For those of you seeing this for the first time, I began a project last summer where in a made-up universe, each U.S. state (commonwealth for the people in KY, MA, PA, and VA) had their own state soccer team. I have done Part I revised a few weeks ago, and now I am on to part four!
To get read-up on everything, check out Part 1.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Welcome back to the Rookie Report! Weβve finally arrived at the week weβve been waiting for β Championship Week! Hopefully your squads have survived the rigors of the season, and the multitude of injury and Covid-19 absences in recent weeks to make it this far. Hopefully you didnβt get Tee Higginsβd, or Justin Jacksonβd or Rex Burkhead-ed last weekend. Week 16 served as a valuable reminder that it doesnβt matter what your team did for the first 15 weeks of the season. What matters is what they do this week. Donβt completely throw caution to the wind and bench your best players, but donβt be afraid to think a little outside the box this week.
I want to emphasize, this week of all weeks, not to take the headers below as gospel. Please consider your league rules and what your roster looks like when applying any of the advice below. Donβt start Rhamondre Stevenson over a back like Ronald Jones or Chase Edmonds, or Amon Ra-St. Brown over receivers like Michael Pittman or Brandin Cooks just because I said Iβd lean towards starting them. Put it in the context of your team and make the decision that makes the most sense for your roster.
A couple of quick notes for the players listed below β All players listed under the same header at the same position are listed in the order that I would play them this week, and all points per game numbers and points allowed rankings are based on half-PPR scoring unless otherwise noted. Letβs dive into week 17β¦
RB Najee Harris, PIT (Wk. 17: vs. Cle.): The Browns arenβt a great matchup for running backs, allowing the 10th-fewest running back points per game, but Najee has scored a dozen or more fantasy points in 12 of his 15 games this season, including 19.5 points in his first meeting with the Browns. He has to be in your lineup this week if you have him.
WR JaβMarr Chase, CIN (Wk. 17: vs. KC): Chase got back on track in week 16 with his first 100-yard game since October, and that should give you the confidence you need to fire him up Sunday. The Chiefs arenβt a pushover on defense, allowing the 11th-fewest WR points per game and ranking 13th in Football Outsidersβ pass defense DVOA stat, but theyβre hardly a matchup to run away from. The Bengals have been more pass-heavy in recent weeks (Joe Burrow has averaged 35.5 attempts in the last 4 weeks after averaging 30.8 prior to that), and theyβll likely have to throw in this one as 5-point underdogs. Weβve seen that the floor

To be clear, I am not a 76ers fan or a 76ers hater, nor am I saying that Morey should or should not accept any of the trade rumors that weβve heard are on the table. Iβm simply clearing up a few misconceptions that I see a lot on this sub regarding how much Ben Simmons is βworthβ or how βvaluableβ he is.
Benjamin David Simmons (born 20 July 1996) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for one season with the Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers, after which he was named a consensus first-team All-American and the USBWA National Freshman of the Year. Simmons was selected with the first overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft by the 76ers. After sitting out a year due to an injured right foot, he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2018 and was selected three times to the NBA All-Star Game. As the result of a holdout from the 76ers following the 2020-21 season, Simmons is the most-fined player in NBA history.
Simmons was born in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy to father Dave and mother Julie.[1][2][3] His father is an African-American expatriate who became a naturalised citizen of Australia,[4][5] and his mother is a white Australian.[4] He was raised alongside five brothers and sistersβMelissa, Emily, Liam, Sean and Oliviaβthe first four being from his mother's previous marriage.[2][6] His father played college basketball for Oklahoma City University in the United States before turning professional with the Melbourne Tigers in Australia's National Basketball League in 1989.[7]
Simmons was raised in Newcastle from the age of 18 months while his father played and coached in the city. Simmons began playing basketball at the age of seven in the Newcastle Hunters' under-12 representative team and played two more years for Lake Macquarie and Newcastle.[8] While in Newcastle, he also played junior rugby league.[9][10]
At age 10, Simmons returned to Melbourne and began playing junior basketball for the Knox Raiders.[11] Along with basketball, he also played Australian rules football at the junior level.[12] In year 7, while attending Whitefriars College, Simmons was named MVP after he helped Whitefriars win the Year-7 Division 1A Basketball premiership.[13]
As a teenager, Simmons was torn between his two loves of basketball and Australian rules football,[14] but he eventually decided to focus on basketball.[15][16][17] In year 9, at the age of 15,

Coming into this offseason, we have several decisions to make especially regarding our usage of the (presumed) #1 pick.
Many mock drafts have us picking one of the two prime pass rushers in Kayvon Thibideaux and Aidan Hutchinson. However, I would like to point out that only OL Evan Neal (Alabama) is a top 5 pick who can truly help Trevor.
Our roster needs as much pure talent as it can get. Our OL started the year as "decent" but never really contributed to much success. Let's say we let Cam Robinson go, kick Little to RT over Jawaan and anchor the other side of the line with a premier OT.
Neal is 6'7, 370 lbs and freakishly athletic. He is a stalwart left tackle who has aided the Alabama offense to great success. He is well deserving of the first pick and I think he'd be the best option. In addition, his price tag will allow us to spend more in FA to help bolster the line and improve the offense.
As for pass rush, we can snag a Zachary Carter or Jermaine Johnson with pick #33 among others. What do you think? Do you wanna see Neal in Teal #FireBaalke
