A list of puns related to "Traditional colors of Japan"
Hi Weddit! I know the traditional dress code for a wedding is not to wear white, as the bride will be wearing white. My dress is very very bright orange, and Iβm not sure if I should warn guests or not? I designed our wedding invitations and at the bottom there is a small silhouette of a couple kissing, but I made the dress in the silhouette the same color as mine will be, and Iβm wondering if thatβs enough of a clue. I think it would be highly unlikely anyone would wear the same color as Iβm wearing because it is incredibly bright, but it is possible. Weβre already including some information about suggested dress in our invitation suite due to the location weβre in (weβll be getting married at a campsite, so weβre warning people to be comfortable and not wear heels or clothes they couldnβt sit at a picnic bench in) so there is a good place to mention it in the invitations if we choose to. Iβm not really worried about it for myself, as I think itβs already unlikely that people would wear that color as itβs unusual already, but if I showed up to a wedding wearing the same color as the bride I might feel a little awkward about it.
For context, the dress is this one by Teuta Matoshi.
Edit to add: hereβs the invite minus identifying info
The world being a harsh place, embracing your full self in public without worrying about peopleβs negative looks is a really hard thing to do. Someday I will also do so and wear that sparkly see-through top and walk down my street feeling hot as hell, but until then I will encourage others to do and celebrate it whenever I see it. Do you also do something small like that ? Tell me, Iβm curious. :)
Edit: Thanks for everyoneβs input, it made me smile like a happy pitbull hehe.
