A list of puns related to "Top Ten Money Making Stars Poll"
I was listening to an episode of the Rewatchables and Bill Simmons mentioned something that I had never heard of called the Quigley poll. Essentially every year this company would send movie theatre owners a questionnaire asking them what they thought were movie's most bankable movie stars. It has stats of the top 10 actors each year from 1912-2013. Just thought it was some real nerdy shit that some of the blankies may not be aware of. Kinda fun to see who was at the top and when, like Burt Reynolds 5 year run of being number 1 form 1978-1982. Anyways see the wiki below which has all of them.

As we are approaching the end of another hectic year, it is somehow the time for the next cycle of TTPT to be scheduled!
You can fill the form here (Google account needed, e-mails not collected), in which you can choose the artists that will feature in TTPT in early 2022. Events and re-dos have their own page in which you can also vote for them (they are both completely optional, can be skipped). The artists that get the most amount of votes will be selected as always, and the schedule will be revealed on Kacey Musgraves TTPT voting thread (December 27).
The annual AOTY event will be held in early January, just like last year. All albums released in 2021 (January 1-December 31) will be eligible.
...with that being said and done, hello once again r/popheads and welcome back to another round of Top Ten Pop Ten!
The group you'll send a top 10 list for this time is Arctic Monkeys.
Here is a rundown of their discography as a refresher:
Solo releases from the group members are also allowed!
You can put non-album singles, unreleased songs and remixes (will be combined with the original song in the final results if the remix doesn't get significant amount of points) in your list too.
Please read the guidelines below if you haven't participated in TTPT before:
Sure the games are big and complicated, but why no new Elder Scrolls in ten years and Fallout in six (besides the online RPGs, of course)? They have a lot of resources at their disposal. What's going on in there?
There are many reasons books may not make the top of this huge list - there are some titles that slid under the radar, or came out pre-internet, or ran out of print, or just plain didn't have the launch budget behind them. Many times books like these simply have not accumulated a large enough readership to reach a broader awareness. I am going to list a few of my favorites that - for whatever reason - received under ten votes, and give you my take on why they might deserve a closer look and more attention. (I may take the list by increments of ten, and go forward from here.)
What are you missing:
Shadows of the Apt by Adrian Tchaikovsky - this is a fast moving, brilliantly wrought series with tremendous characters - you will absolutely grow to love (and even, hate). The villains in the work have so many layers, they are fascinating to read, and the rest of the cast is guaranteed to win your heart. What may have put you off? The society, perhaps - which if you read the blurbs - centers on bugs...but don't do the knee jerk. These characters are human with Art and it is the Art that connects them to the bug kinden. So think of it as 'attributes' - that add a facet to the interlocking layers of intrigue. This story has so much depth and heart - and ranges the gamut from collegiate atmosphere, to strange forests, to gangsters like you've never seen. The scope of this series is immense, and it is one of the very few that interfaces magic with tech. If you were put off by the hooded figure with the sword cover, or the just plain bug - the artwork does not begin to say anything that does justice to this work. It is both character driven and also filled with military campaign detail - all portrayed in ways that will fascinate. Give this one a serious look, it has all the feels!
Navaronne by Carol Berg - This is a loosely named 'series' that really consists of two duologies that overlap the time period and involve a greater picture, but stand as they are. Publication order would be Lighthouse Duet first (Flesh and Spirit/Breath and Bone) and Sanctuary - (Dust and Light/Ash and Silver). If you enjoy characters put through the wringer/written in exquisite first person (Robin Hobb fans check this out!) - if you like shades of gray and seriously incredible magic and world building - these books are amazing. Carol Berg always manages to surprise, throw in twists, grow characters Way past your first impression of them, and even better - she sticks her endings every sin
... keep reading on reddit β‘Over six seasons of All-Stars (fifty-six episodes) we've had a lot of iconic moments. According to IMDB the top 10 user rated episodes of All-Stars (so far) are:

What do you think and do you agree?
Opinion: Iβm surprised nothing from Season 4 (prior to Sex and the Kitty Girl, 3) broke into the top 5, but itβs a pretty tough one to move around due to Season 2'ss influence. Jersey Justice or maybe even Hennyβs Supergroup (near-perfect all-around runway and Valentinaβs lip-sync redemption) could have moved one of the Season 6 moments around.

I am a female hvac tech with over 20 years working in the field. I have been laid off almost every fall due to the area I live in not needing heaters as much as our northern areas. All spring and summer long I work from sun up till midnight for the weekdays and on call most weekends. My last company I worked for promised they would keep us busy through the winter months. They were gonna put me in all their advertising to attract the customers who don't like a blue collar guy in their home making repairs . Had a photographer follow me around on a few calls. But before the ads were released, I found a lump on my breast and my worst fear became my new reality in a few short weeks. My biopsy results were returned on a Friday evening and on Monday morning I was fired. They dug through my social media to find an old post that didn't meet their image of a "model" employee. Bear in mind I worked there six months and the post was several years old. This is what corporate America has become. No matter how much money you make a company the moment you stop being lucrative you are thrown away. We make everything to be disposable in America and we are to them. When we no longer perform at the rate expected of us, they toss us out and replace us with new. Companies who take care of their employees is a foreign concept. We are held accountable for every mistake while corporate America dismisses liability to limit their losses. While going through treatment I had no income, no insurance and little hope. My car was repoed. I moved home to my parents. My contempt for corporae America continues to grow as they continue to throw us away.
