Huge shoutout to Daniel Baxter and the guys at HISHE for actually doing the research and drawing out everyone's correct lightsaber hilts. They did more research here in this 10 second scene than JJ would ever do in a year.

Just sealed the deal. So freakin pumped. 2018 Turbo Sport Turismo, optioned to the hilt. Had a GTS ordered, but got this beauty for significantly less. Once you drive the turbo, you’re ruined.

Left the game running for over 6 hours because I didnt want to fight a certain passive boss. Apparently your lightsaber blades can end up drifting away from the hilt over time.
Renewed my Disneyland pass this weekend to visit Galaxy’s Edge. I was hoping to find a hilt closer to Anakin’s original hilt when Rey first obtained it but I guess those were out of stock. They had Rey’s from Rise of Skywalker however. Must be a new release with the movie? It didn’t even have a tag.
Had to take my Legacy saber back to Galaxy’s Edge after converting it! Now to figure out the next hilt to buy.

Which hilt style is the most well made, or Most expensive for Disney to make?
I’m having a hard time deciding what hilt I want, and I’m only going to buy one, and I’m not sure if they still sell scrap either. I don’t want a legacy, I want to build it for the experience, Here’s why it’s so difficult for me:
Elemental nature: my first pick, but after hearing about the issues of the paint chipping easily and the wood made of rubber I am drawn away
Power and Control: most of the combinations don’t look good to me, but I absolutely want a sith saber with the weight to it
Piece and Justice: really generic but right now looks the best to me, and also like how it’s all metal, definitely looks the most immersive
Protection and defense, the paint on the gold looks absolutely horrible, is it just me? Otherwise, like how it definitely looks the most Disneyland
6 months later, still love my Power & Control hilt. Any suggestions on further mods? Was thinking of painting over *some* of the red with purple to give it some Revan vibes.
Decided to build a PVC hilt while I wait for my SF order. Just weathered and then sealed it. I'm liking the way it's coming together :)

My hilt’s side guard cracked, tis’ a sad day. Not too sad though, I have the pieces and I’m going to glue them back on and use my soldering iron to make “weld” marks and then repaint this sucker.
Does anyone have experience with the Jedi Challenges VR game hilt? Do you think you would be able to convert it to an actual saber with sound board, LED's, etc?

(Repost because I suck at spelling) I modified the blade of my lightsaber and made a new hilt to make a katana. I tested it and the results have come in. It doesn’t shatter upon impact.

Latest creation: Alderwood, handcarved square bladed and gilded hilt. Glow in the dark medium in wood imperfections and crystals set in the pommel. Runes and symbols reflect four elements, the wizard/witch being the fifth to make it all complete.
This happening to anyone else? It’s definitely the blade because I took it out and it did the same thing in another hilt.

Does anybody know if there are readybuild or 3d printer designs available like this one for (samsung) wmr controllers? Not necessary hilts, but to add more bulk/mass to the controllers.
I’m eyeing a Butcher from UltraSabers and I had planned on going balls to the wall with the options. but after some searching, I see people having problems with the electronics from US & SF. I’m a mechanic of 10 years and had some experience soldering is it that much better to DIY on empty a hilt?
Small update got a head and painted the hilt. Still want to find smaller blue lasers for the sides and possibly touch up the face
I'm sure this isn't what normally goes here but I did do a little hammer work on it. Lightsaber hilt prop for a planned cosplay, the belt hook was forged and I cold worked a lot of the copper and brass pieces before distressing and assembling.
