there is a song where the gamblers are in the sewer system. Theres a cabaret girl who is in love with another gambler who wont marry her. Somehow the gamblers manage to use the church while the nuns were out for a night of gambling and drinking. I saw it on a late night movie channel in a hotel when my mum and I visited family up in new england. The club scene where the nun gets drunk then joins the other girls in dancing was such an amazing scene.

He and Ladybird have been practicing their footwork while the parents are out of the house... that is until Hank comes home early one day, and busts up their fun, citing Ladybird's old age and arthritis as a reason to stop the activity. Bobby agrees, but when Hank see's firsthand how happy it makes Ladybird, he can't help but start doing the same. Bobby, furious at his dads hypocrisy, has taken up with Khan's dog and challenges his father to dance-off!

I'm looking for the author of this book that is possibly titled "dog" which is unfortunate. I remember that the book cover was a plain white book cover with grey font and a tiny black dog at the bottom. The plot follows an dog whose extremely ugly. He is the runt and left for dead who then gets taken in by a cat. Eventually the cat dies and the dog has to live on their own to which they get impounded. Then he gets adopted by a rather abusive family who treat him horribly and the daughter is a complete brat mistreats him to the point that he then runs away. The father would yank on the dogs leash a lot being impatient, the mother would remark on the dogs appearance, and the girl was just an overall brat. I remember one point the girl yells at him to return but he runs completely off or something its fuzzy. There was one point where the dog finds someone who treats them well and even gives them a bed a trucker i think?? But eventually the father of the family finds the dog and begs for them to return because the girl has started starving herself in response. Its kind of a wild ride but the dog returns and the family get better and treat the dog well. The last line from the book ended something like and "mr. insert fathers name could wait all day for him to inspect every wheel" ( talking about the dog going to the bathroom) I don't know why or how but this book made a huge impact on my early kid life and i've been searching for it since.

Over at Kotakuinaction2, some chuds are endless amused by the constant reiteration of that joke about sexually identifying as an "attack copter". KIA2 is amused by a comic about how transgender people are supposedly "promoting degeneracy." In the comic, a young boy says in the first panel, "Mom, I'm an astronaut"; in the second panel, "..I'm a dinosaur"; in the third, "I'm a princess"; ending with a fourth panel of a doctor with large scissors saying, "Ok, Billy, time to become a girl."
