A list of puns related to "Tiffany Young discography"
Charlie Hunter would be great too.
Great community here, loved sharing in the past and I really hope we don't ever get shut down. When Reddit asks me if this subreddit is related to music I say no lol
Tiffany's my favorite OT9, and I've been her fan since 2009. But what do you think of these quotes? I've edited this comment to correct typos and add punctuation.
>Mushrooms Fany can be hit and miss. I honestly believe that her years with SM didn't actually do her any favors regarding her vocals (experience yes, but vocal conditioning no). I honestly believe, like a lot of others, SM used and abused Fany (not getting much needed ongoing vocal training; not allowing proper rest; hectic schedules that just wrecked them all etc etc). SM didn't really concern themselves with her condition so much, and as a result Fany has developed some bad practices that have just exacerbated the damage. Had she received the right care and nurturing when she needed it, I think her chances of breaking into the USA could have been accomplished. Fany has chutzpah, she has courage and an almost psychotic need to entertain LMAO. You can see how much she enjoys being on the stage, even smaller more intimate venues like here where she can really connect with her audience and feed off the excitement of it all. But her voice is damaged, you can hear it. She falters more often, her voice cracks a lot, goes flat, off key, hoarse β more than she should be with all the years of training and experience she has had as a Kpop idol. I understand what she is doing, with having such a loud backing track and just adding whatever she wants over it when she is performing. She is also dancing and moving around and wants to give her audience a great show without worrying that her voice is going to let her down. Those of us who have been her fans for many years know how good she can be, and we also happily forgive little issues with her voice because we know her vocal nodule history etc. We also understand how the Kpop industry works and how performances mostly go, whether it's backing tracks, lip syncing or live. American audiences are very difference to Kpop fans. For venues like these or any concert/live performance is expected to be exactly that 'LIVE'.
>Her other performances have been similar. It's the same thing β super loud original track, with Fany singing over it. Her 'live' studio performances have been better. When she's not so hyper excited and more soulful, her voice is more relaxed and she sings wonderfully. It's when she gets the need to sing like Beyonce or M

TLDR: K-pop fans should allow idols to have long-term goals as opposed to just thinking in terms of this year and next year. It must be so hard for idols to think of the long game when ageism, profits, and competition are always standing in the way of consideration of 2-5 years from now as opposed to tomorrow.
It has recently been announced that Tiffany Young of SNSD has been cast as Roxie Hart in the Korean production of Chicago the Musical.
This post is an appreciation post for how hard Tiffany works and how relentless she is in achieving her goals. The core appreciation is that Tiffany is willing to play the long-game in an industry that is quick to dismiss an artist that is not popular within two to three years of debut.
At debut, Tiffany was not an automatic standout. Her Korean literacy was not up to par and her singing needed vast improvement. She worked tirelessly to speak and read Korean to fluency while under a grueling k-pop promotion and practice schedule. She continued to practice singing as if she were a trainee in order to make great strides in her vocal ability. In time, SM entertainment and fans noticed her improvement and she was increasingly given more difficult lines in SNSD songs.
She worked hard and became a member of SNSD's singing sub-unit TTS, where she effortlessly fit in with the singing talents of Taeyeon and Seohyun. She soon became the #2 voice in SNSD after 2014. She eventually was able to make her solo debut in 2016. Unsatisfied and pushed by a scandal regarding the rising sun flag, Tiffany decided to leave SM entertainment and move back to California in 2017, where should would pursue an American debut. She appeared on almost every significant YouTube channel from 2018-19 and promoted her songs relentlessly. Despite not gaining heavy traction, she continued to train, tour, and work on her singing, performance, and acting skills.
Her casting revealed that she came to Korea in the middle of a pandemic just to audition for Chicago, with no guarantee that she would get the role. She had been taking acting lessons since 2017 and had failed to get any roles, but finally four years later, she is the star of a musical that has been performing in Korea for over 20 years.
I think for the average k-pop fan, the announcement of Tiffany's musical casting seems like not a big deal. But every time I think of Tiffany, I think of how she is dedicated to the long game. It must be so hard for idols to think of the long game w
