A list of puns related to "Thermal bag"
So I had started an application like a year ago for skip the dishes to try and earn some more money while I was working part time in my normal job. But they werenβt acceping applications in my area at the time. Got an email yesterday that they are accepting now. Ok well maybe I will see what itβs like if I can make a bit of cash on the side.
After finally getting thru uploading all my documents they ask if I want to buy a thermal meal delivery bag, I say no and they want me to upload a picture of my own bag. So then I go well lets how much theirs costs, 60 bucks!! And then I see they have a 20 dollar background check charge added as well.
Fuck this garbage company! If you gonna exploit the workers, ie βindependent contractorsβ atleast pay for their bags and background checks. Anyways I didnβt bother finishing the application.
PS. Love this sub, been sending friends here and enjoying watching them get radicalized.
Peace
The majority of other riders I see don't ever zip up their thermal bags and put cold drinks in the same thermal bag as hot food. Why is that? Just laziness to save a few seconds here and there? Or do they not understand how thermal bags work?
I live in Montreal and I just got surgery so I can't go out.
I've been using Uber eat, during the last 10 days or so, and every single time the food is cold, for restaurants that are 5-10 minutes away...
I know they don't use thermal bags, do you guys know of a way for me to get my food still warm with Uber? or if there's another app that offers the same service and gives their employees thermal bags?
because each time I tell myself it's not the driver's fault, it's probably the restaurant... but now after reading some of you guys' posts many of you said you use thermal bags, to serve the customers well...
would it be douchy to leave bad reviews to the drivers until I get my food warm?
Iβve been researching different bags and they all seem about the same. Iβm thinking it would be easier just to buy a couple off of the web store. Are they good quality? I was thinking of getting two tote bags and one pizza bag.
Edit: Gonna buy one lol
I have been doing UE and Deliveroo for some time now, have accumulated like 6/7 bags of all sizes in my time and have just moved to a new area with my partner and funny enough they just launched Deliveroo here last week. It has been a real good earner as I think I was one of like 3 drivers here. Now there has been a huge influx of drivers due to the sick boosts (1.6x etc.) and NONE of them have a thermal bag, in my old area I have seen drivers refused an order as they donβt have one, but now no one cares here? Does this grate on anyone else or am I a Karen?
Iβve done some reading on this subreddit about thermal bags and which one to use, but Iβm still not sure which one to get. (I will be biking) Iβm thinking of getting this: https://www.amazon.com/Insulated-Backpacks-Leak-Proof-Transport-Postmates/dp/B08LL277VB/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=dovoda+thermal+backpack&qid=1627734390&sr=8-3. Anyone have it / have any advice? Also, would a bike phone holder be necessary? If yes, any recommendations? Sorry for the annoyance, just want to be prepared before my first delivery. Thanks in advance!
i recently started instacart and was reading that with the thermal bag you have access to more batches but i wonder if its really worth it and how much more will I get in an area like mine (san bernadino , Redlands area) whats some of your experiences with it ? did you notice a huge difference ?
