A list of puns related to "Theodosius III"
Our sources for the early 5th century tell us that Ataulf, King of the Goths following Alaricโs death in 411, believed Gothic martial vigor could be used to restore Roman supremacy. In the same way the Illyrian Emperors of the 4th century, he envisioned an energetic Gotho-Roman dynasty stabilizing the Roman west.
What if that happened, what if Ataulf rules his Goths and stood as regent for his 9 year old Emperor son. Who then went on to to be King of the western Goths and Emperor of the West.
I was trying to make a list of all Georgian monarchs ever, under monarchs I mean everyone, including kings of separated and divided Georgian territories and their self-proclaimed kings, and including tribal leaders of the early period.
Also, in case this gets reposted, I don't want to share just names and what they did, I want people to understand the timeline and what were these states where these people ruled, so we start from there, with a small overview of general proto-Georgian states that were settled by Georgians for many thousands of years and even beyond that, tribal settlements already existed 200 000 years ago, exactly in the surroundings of where are major Georgian cities today, early proto-Georgian states were first mentioned in 1200 BC by the Assyrian king Tiglath-Pileser I, it seems that Diauehi - แแแแแฎแ (1200 BC - 750 BC), was counter-attacking the king. There is the Kingdom of Colchis - แแแแฎแแแ / แแแ แแกแ (1300 BC - 164 BC) which eventually absorbed Diauehi as the union of proto-Georgian tribes. Meanwhile, in the East of Georgia, the Kingdom of Iberia (302 BC - 580 AD) is taking shape under the first Georgian dynasty of Kings. Under Roman rule, Colchis transformed into Lazica - แแแแแแ / แแแ แแกแ (131 AD - 697 AD). After Lazica and Iberia, Georgians were seeking ways to unite the dynasty, Tao-Klarjeti, Abkhazia, Kartli, all were taking part in the game of thrones. Finally, the second major dynasty of Kings was able to unite all Georgian tribes within the Kingdom of Georgia (1008 - 1490), after devastating attacks Kingdom was divided into small duchies who all claimed to be kings of Georgia, such as the Kingdoms of Kartli, Kakheti, and Imereti. Until 1810, when Russian Empire abolished the Georgian monarchy.
To be honest, I didn't check the limit that actually exists for a Reddit post, it's 40000 characters, and I did over 80000 so had to trim it a bit, but I think I have provided information for anyone who had an impact and actually did something beneficial or had an impact but did something awful, you can find all the game of thrones here. I will post both parts at the same time and will link both parts to each other.
Sieni (Approx. 1120 BC - 1100 BC) - Diauehi |

Diauehi being a military union of different tribes, chose Sieni as a representative and a king, Sieni was the one who counter-attacked Assyrian king Tiglath-Pileser I but lost the war. |

Christianity in terms of its teachings and beliefs is nonviolent. Lets start with the person it is centred on. Jesus Christ. This is what he had to say on the matter:
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God"(Matthew 5:9)
"You have heart that it was said 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth'. But I say to you, Do not resist an evildoer. But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also; and if anyone wants to sue you and take your coat, give your cloak as well; and if anyone forces you to go one mile, go also the second mile"(Matthew 5:38-41)
"You have heart that it was said 'You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy'. But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous. For if you love those who love, you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax-collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect"(Matthew 5:43-48)
"Suddenly, one of those with Jesus put his hand on his sword, drew it, and struck the slave of the high priest, cutting off his ear. Then Jesus said to him 'Put your sword back into its place; for all those who live by the sword will perish by the sword"(Matthew 26:51-52)
So it is very clear Christ in his teachings advocated nonviolence: How did the Early Christian community view violence? Well, here are examples from some of the Early Church Fathers:
"For from Jerusalem there went out into the world, men, twelve in number, and these illiterate, of no ability in speaking: but by the power of God they proclaimed to every race of men that they were sent by Christ to teach to all the word of God; and we who formerly used to murder one another do not only now refrain from making war upon our enemies, but also, that we may not lie nor deceive our examiners, willingly die confessing Christ."_St Justin Martyr(First Apology)
"I do not wish to be a king; I am not anxious to be rich; I decline military command... Die to the world, repudiating the madness that is in it."_Tatian(Address to the Greeks)

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Such an underrated time. These thirteen years are ripe with cutthroat conflicts.
Our main players are Constantine II, Constans, Constantius, Vetranio, Magnentius, and Gallus.
The 340s are particularly interesting because we have for ten years the binary empire that would later become the norm.
This division of Rome is, for me, the most interesting because if we recall the earlier triumvirate of Constantine, Licinius, and Maximinus, that really only lasts one year.
When Lepidus, Antony, and Octavian had their tripartite empire and that took eleven years.
Another interesting tripartite period was that of Thedosius, Valentinian II, and Gratian. (379-383)
Then we also have from 407 to 411, Honorius, Constantine III, and Arcadius/Theodosius. This one was by far the most ridiculous one.
Constantius deserves some respect in this case because like his father who had likewise had a tripartite empire; he managed to be the last man standing.
What started out as brotherly business left him a cynical but strong man.

"Son of Ptah"
A fertility symbol, the sacred bull, considered the โglorious Baโ (soul) of the god Ptah or Osiris, associated with Lower Egypt. In a funerary context, the Apis was a protector of the deceased, and linked to the pharaoh. This animal was chosen because it symbolized the kingโs courageous heart, great strength, virility, and fighting spirit.
The Apis was considered to be a manifestation of the pharaoh, as bulls were symbols of strength and fertility, qualities which are closely linked with kingship (โStrong Bullโ was a common title for gods and pharaohs.) The cult of the Apis started at the very beginning of Egyptian history, probably as a fertility god connected to grain and the herds.
The Apis was often depicted on private coffins as a powerful protector. It was believed that to be under the protection of the Apis would give the person control over the four winds in Sehet Aaru, and that the bullโs great strength could be harnessed to thresh grain. The power and virility of the Apis could be invoked to ensure sexual intercourse in the afterlife, and in the Pyramid Texts the deceased king claims

"Where the Chaldaeans had knelt with their riches, adoring the cradle of the eternal King revealed to them by a new star, the Romans ritually perpetrated barbaric lusts. Where the shepherds on that glorious night had greeted the infant Saviour, singing in harmony with the host of angels in heavenly joy, a mixed crowd of harlots and eunuchs lamented for Venusโ lover! How sad this is! What human devotion will be able to atone for such impiety? Where the sacred Child, the baby Saviour, had uttered His cries, that ill-famed rite shrieked with the wanton grief of those counterfeiting the laments of Venus. Where the Virgin had borne her child, adulterers were worshipped.
This wickedness of an earlier age continued to the time of Constantine, shortly before our day. He deserved to be prince of the princes of Christ as much through the faith of his mother Helena as through his own. The outcome proved that she was inspired by Godโs plan when she set eyes on Jerusalem. As co-regent with the title Augusta, she asked her son to give her a free hand in clearing all the sites there on which our Lordโs feet had trod, and which were stamped with remembrances of Godโs works for us. She sought to cleanse them of all the infection of profane wickednesses by pulling down temples and statues, and to restore them to their rightful allegiance so that the Church might at last be famed in the land of its beginnings. This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
#June 26th, 2021: a day that will live in infamy.
For the fourth year in a row since /r/neoliberal was founded, a year has passed without celebration of Corn Law Day. This year, we had only one post referencing Corn Laws, and only one reference to Corn Law Day. /r/Neoliberal has lost the War on Corn Law Day.
And worse, Bernkeposting is at an all-time low, and Shiversposting is at an all-time high. The /r/neoliberal culture, descended from a rich meme history from /r/badeconomics, has been diminished by unchecked mass-immigration to the point of meaninglessness.
And if you still don't believe it, look at the DT karma scores over time. If my projection is correct, by the end of 2022 the DTs will be near-universally more upvoted than downvoted. We cannot allow this to happen.
How can the mods sit by and watch this subreddit die? It's time to make /r/neoliberal great again.
