80 years old, former Secretary of State Shelby M. Cullom maintained no desire for retirement and was reluctantly re-appointed to his former position after a volley of lobbying by friends to President Roosevelt. Nonetheless, James R. I've lived in this city for almost 5 years and have yet to explore Theodore Roosevelt Island. Husband and I were thinking of heading down there this evening since there's finally a break in the heat. We wouldn't be leaving until 7 or so since I get off work later today.
How does one get there with a car, are there things to note before going, and how safe is it in the evening/night?
Thanks in advance!
