[TOMT][TV SHOW] Older British kids show where the host died midway through the show's production

The show may have been aired in the 80s at the latest and featured puppet characters and a human host. During one of the seasons, the host of the show passed away in between episodes, and rather than cancel the show they brought in a new host to replace him, and the very next episode had the new host say on camera that they were brought in because the host died, and then the rest of the episode was about the puppet characters learning about death. I remember seeing a clip of it years ago but I have no clue what the name of the show is.

[TOMT] [TV] [1990's] Cartoon set in China around the Boxer Rebellion, featuring two British kids who are 'children of prophecy' and who (I think?) could call upon the magic of dragons

So this cartoon has stumped me for years. I keep thinking it was called something like "Children of the Dragon" but am getting no love.

I recall something about how the two kids were prophesised to help unite China (or something), and a secret society was trying to kidnap them and use their magic for their own purposes... while others were trying to help the kids escape and return to Britain. The animation was pretty good (relative to others at the time).

I recall watching it on Australian TV on ABC during the early to mid 1990's. It was on (I think) Friday nights, during a programming block of some other fairly quality shows.

When shit hits the fan... and a British TV series called Utopia.

When it's much too late and the effects of climate change become an issue nobody can push to the back of their mind; when society is on the brink of dissolution humans will find a way just as they always have done before.

In adversity humanity has always found an answer to crisis. However, that answer in my opinion, will be a dark one.

There are two reasons we are in this mess. Overpopulation and human nature in the form of greed.

It is my belief that you can't change human nature. But you can change overpopulation.

When the elite, major corporations, the leading world governments and their militaries watch as the world economy begins to tank and they can no longer keep the status quo and profit off the masses they will look to find a quick fix.

The fastest way to reduce emissions would be to drastically reduce the human population. This could be achieved by war, sterilisation or disease.

[An excellent UK TV series](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utopia_(UK_TV_series) put forward the idea that the world elite would develop a virus that would sterilise the human population. Leaving a small proportion of the population either vaccinated or immune to the virus so they could reproduce.

The series is a dystopian thriller which addresses many issues of the Anthropocene, such as overpopulation and the running out of resources,[10] and combines it with contemporary anxieties about surveillance, epidemics and global conspiracies.

Like the show, obviously in this scenario the world elite could manufacture a tale that such a virus was a natural but surprising phenomena, much like the unprecedented rise of AIDs in the 80's (although obviously AIDs was not manufactured).

In my opinion if this solution was available I would be happy to reduce the world population to 1-2 billion in a way that allows the majority to live out their natural life.

This would radically reduce emissions and enable us to develop a life-sustaining eco-system for the new population. Our techniques at removing emissions from the atmosphere would yield a net positive and humanity would continue, albeit with a radically different mindset.

I urge you all to watch Utopia.

[TOMT] [KIDS TV] [Mid 2000s] An animated kids tv show where a boy has the voice of an instrument.

There’s this show that I’ve been searching for lately, I can’t remember the premise but I do remember that it was animated in 2D and was from the mid 2000s. The show had multiple segments mostly art oriented. The boy had a family who would speak English. He had the voice of a trumpet or saxophone, some kind of instrument. And the only setting I can remember is their purple living room. I think the show aired on pbs kids, I don’t think there was many episodes and the show wasn’t long. I only really remember the boys dad and mom. Any information is appreciated:)

[TOMT] [TV SERIES] [Early 2000's] British children's tv series, where a girl who is kidnapped leaves a coded message on a mirror.

It was a tv series, potentially a film but i doubt it, that I was shown in primary school, in class, in the UK. I saw it in the early 2000's, but it could have been made in the 80's/90's. I think it was an educational show, seeing as we watched it in class, maybe BBC?

The only scene I remember is: there are 2 kids, around 12/13, one boy and one girl. They are investigating something/discover something illegal. The girl ends up kidnapped, and is held in an antiques shop. There is a dusty mirror, which she leaves a message on for her friend. The message is coded like this - the yreta kingme toso mewhere - where the spaces are in the wrong place in the sentence, if that makes sense. (that is not the actual message, just an example) Her friend finds the message and decodes it.

This is a long shot, but maybe someone else remembers this, I hope.

Thanks in advance

[TOMT][Movie?][Late 90s] Kid's movie or maybe TV series on HBO in the early morning featuring Nazi-like puppets trying to capture kids?

One morning before school, I was watching tv while getting ready. I was flipping through the channels and I landed on this really weird kid's movie on HBO I was never able to identify. This was over 20 years ago, so my memory of it is pretty bad, but I do remember a Nazi-styled villain who was always saying "ach du lieber" whenever something went wrong. Maybe he was a dog? I know it was some animal in a Nazi-style uniform. Anyway, he and his goons are running around some town that may have been seaside, or by a lake. Some kind of body of water? All I remember about the plot was they were trying to find and capture some kids for some reason. I came in in the middle of it, and this was the days before any DVRs or those bars at the bottom of the screen saying what I was watching so I never got the name of it. It's been gnawing at me for a long time, and I couldn't find any info elsewhere on it. Thanks in advance.

[TOMT] [TV SERIES] [BRITISH] [COMEDY] [2000s] I remember one episode of it and i thought its really funny, would like help with the name of it

I believe its a british comedy regarding a family in a landed house (with grandma?)

Anyways the episode i remembered was where the son had a Lord if the Rings phase and wanted to go to a concert dressed as Frodo and got his dad to go as Gandalf. At the bus stop son got some Maltesers and dad crushed it with the staff. At the concert venue the son forgot his ticket, so dad stopped everyone with "You shall not pass!"

Daughter got into a chastity programme to hook up with a guy and they had a ring as a symbol? Anyways it didnt work out so when Dad got back someone (mom or grandma?) threw it to him and said "Throw this into Mount Doom for me would you?"

Anyways one of the best comedies ive seen and i would love if someone could help me find out what its called
