[Spoilers ALL][LORE] "Mother's Mercy" and the Roles of The Seven
With the season finale's title "Mother's Mercy", I started getting curious... what exactly are the roles for the various gods in the Faith of the Seven? Loosely, here's what I've found.
- The Father represents Justice.
- The Mother represents Mercy.
- The Warrior represents Strength.
- The Maiden represents Innocence.
- The Smith represents... work? Crafting? Something like that.
- The Crone represents Wisdom.
- The Stranger represents the Unknown.
However, what I'm less familiar with is where each of these gods were invoked, and in what contexts. When might someone ask for the Mother's mercy in particular, or when might they pray to the Smith or the Crone? Have we seen many examples (in book or show) of characters praying to the particular aspects of the Seven?
