A list of puns related to "The Secret Garden (2020 film)"
I just take my thyme.
I fell back in love with Hyun Bin and was watching Secret Garden and Ye Jin cameos in the last episode as herself! I just exploded with happiness. :D
This is where I now pray for Ha Ji Won to come and cameo as Kim Hang Ah from King 2 Hearts in CLOY. :D
There are also 1-2 SG references in CLOY. Forgot which scene it was exactly but the nod was obvious. :)
I recently finished reading Hodgson-Burnettβs βThe Secret Gardenβ and have loved The Chronicles of Narnia since I was a child. Iβm looking for books similar to those with a bit of escapism involved - I live in the city & its nice to get drawn back to the mystery of the countryside sometimes.
Can I trade Chark straight up for Scary Terry now?
" They think this is the end of them--a path with no escape. And yet, here they are, there they were, and there they will be, and there they will have been. For them, there is no paradox. There is only the pattern. And the pattern needs the Vex to see it to completion. And so the Vex must be. For the mind of the Vex, is that faith? "
when i heard that there was a heavy semantic field of religion in the sol inherent i immediately thought back to this dialogue from the secret ending to "paradox". there has been no other vex group with such non subtle imagery of religion and "faith" than the sol inherent (the sol divisive seems to work along side the sol inherent and share the same goals so iam throwing them together in the same group in the same way the hezen corrective and protective are sub-sects of the same group which share the same goal) due to such a heavy contrast between the sol inherent and other vex groups in being closely related to faith i think that the sol inherent may be related to this voice line.
Furthermore, in sci-fi the word inherent is frequently used to describe something that always has and will exist. I think that the sol inherent are the philosophy of this piece of dialogue put into practice, the vex need to become inherent to to see their pattern to completion they need to exist in the past the present and the future. Now why do i believe that the sol inherent are those tasked with doing so? for one due to the direct link between them and the final word of this dialogue which seems to infer that the contents of the dialogue and the sol inherent are related in some way, thus alluding that the sol inherent have some part to play in the contents of the dialogue and secondly, their name like i said before has the connotations that something has existed is existing and will exist just like the piece of dialogue mentions that the vex need to achieve to insure their pattern is complete.
I know this a weak connection but no other vex group apart from the sol divisive seem to be directly linked to this piece of dialogue in such a way. to elaborate on my previously bracketed point i believe that the sol divisive are a part of the sol inherent because the sol inherent seem to have an even greater connection to the black garden.
But if it is true that the sol inherent is always existing put into practice why did they fail? (at least in the future we dont kill oryx) *dons spinfoil hat - i think it's because of the sol inherent's "faith"
... keep reading on reddit β‘I'm taking a trip in March that will be 3 weeks in total, with the first 2 in Panama and the last 1 in Ecuador (give or take a day). With a relatively short amount of time in Ecuador, I'm trying to decide the best use of my time. I'm resigned to the fact that I'm not going to be able to completely "do Ecuador", but that's fine. Theres always next time if I really like the place! I'll be flying in to Quito from Panama city, but I can fly home (to Philadelphia) from either Quito or Guayaquil (virtually no price difference). My "can't miss" for Ecuador are Quito, Cuenca and Montanita/the Pacific coast. I would also like to find time for Banos (edit: during the Panama leg of this trip I'll spend at least a few days in Boquete. Has anyone been to both Banos and Boquete who could compare them? They seem like they have a similar vibe and range of activities). For Quito and Cuenca I'd be satisfied with just 24-48 hrs in each. I'd like a few days to hang on the beach, be it Montanita or somewhere else. For lack of time I'm not going to bother with any Amazon stuff. Maybe next time. I'm perfectly fine not spending any real time in Guayaquil, but would fly home from there if it's more convenient than Quito from wherever my last stop is.
I'm very intrigued by the secret garden in Cotopaxi. Looks amazing and everyone seems to rave about it, but I'm wondering if the 3 day/2 night package is worth eating up almost half my time in the country, or if I should just stay 1 night, take a day trip to Cotopaxi (not staying at SG), or just skip it altogether. If it comes down to spending time in Banos or the SG Cotopaxi, which should I skip? I'd love to hear from anyone who has been to both places!
Also any tips about transportation, route planning or just general knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
It's most likely from the 80s or early 90s. I remember the animation style being very simplistic and the characters having wide, short faces. Style was similar to Madeline. It used a good deal of scenes with flickering candles while the main character snuck around the dark mansion.
