In The Pianist (2002), there is an easter egg, where the word "Bar" has burnt-in subtitles in some strange ancient tongue. It is in fact "Polish", a language apparently quite widely spoken in the area where the film takes place β even by the director himself.

And it was perfect, the very essence of Tolkien's work was captured and portrayed beautifully. The actors and actresses were perfect for their roles, the musical score was and still is considered to be the best musical score ever. It was the highest grossing film trilogy for a very long time. it created millions of fans of Tolkien and are still loved by many to this day.

James Bond vs 2002 in film: Die Another Day
The first James Bond film of the new millennium! Okay, okay, I realize that most of you think that Die Another Day is worse than Hitler AIDS, but how does it compare to the other big films of 2002? Is it near the top of the heap? Or at the bottom? Or somewhere in the middle? Does it Vanquish the competition (see what I did there?), or do an inordinate number of other huge franchises triumphantly say, "Yo mama!"? Let's take a look.

I tried organising the 1962-2002 films into distinct chronologies, incorporating the same continuity. I think it makes more sense that the films are not retroactive i.e. Brosnan might have once lived through the events of OHMSS, but that doesnβt mean that Lazenby WILL live through the events of DAD

Resident Evil (2002) is a better FILM than RE: WTRC
From the T-Virus leak in the opening to the Laser Room to the moments with the hordes of zombies. Those moments were far more tense than almost anything in RE: WTRC. RE (2002) was just a better made film for the time and one could argue that it COULD fit in the timeline with the Resident Evil games. Whereas WTRC is just a collection of Easter Eggs and scenes from the games recreated without any context behind those scenes.
