My boyfriend loves the Raptors but one of his favourite players is Luka Doncic on the Mavericks. I want to surprise him with tickets to the December 22 Mavs vs Raps game. My budget is $800 and I found tickets for around $750 ish in the 107 section. I really want the most affordable seats that have a good view of the game. Should I wait to purchase the tickets? Do they get cheaper or more expensive closer to the game?
Is it better to wait just to make sure that Luka is going to play in the game? Sorry I don’t have experience buying tickets and I would like some advice. On a throwaway because I’m not sure if my boyfriend visits this subreddit.

Over the past month, I've been inching ever so closer to GC. I finished all my finals and decided to grind the last stretch to GC (spoiler: I didn't quite make it). I've never been one that cares tons about my rank. I'm honestly amazed that I got to this point. I did want to get GC though because who doesn't right? I've been playing this game since almost day one and I surpassed my hours in CS:GO a long time ago. A game which I had gotten very good at.
So there I was two or three wins from GC, just kinda doing my thing, playing the best I know how when I get a mistouch and miss what should have been a goal for us. I figured it was no big deal because it happens. Guys, you would have thought the world had ended.
My teammate immediately started flaming me and my other teammate stayed quiet which was for the best. We end up losing because this dude could not get over a goal I missed when we were up two, and would rather spend his time flaming me than actually trying to win.
I queue again and lose by one goal, teammates are cool about it. Eventually, I climb back up to 1470-80 mmr and yet again more toxic teammates. Drop to 1440 area and everyone is chill. Climb again more toxicity.
Just be warned if you're trying to make the final climb to GC toxic people are everywhere and it is probably better just to mute chat.
TL;DR: Expect a spike in toxicity when you get within a few games of GC. It is honestly probably better for you to just mute chat at that point.
I don’t know if it’s the same thing for you but I think I never heard a more amazing soundtrack than the one in every TVD episode. I remember when I was younger I shazammed something like EVERY song. Those songs literally became my adolescence soundtrack.
Walked out of the June test feeling great, but now I’m feeling like I bombed it.
