Books like the Magic Treehouse and the Faraway Tree?

Maybe a bit longer than those ones, it's been a while since I read them so I can't remember how kid-friendly they were, but anything with a similar feel of adventure would be greatly appreciated!

I never read books as a kid, except Enid Blyton’s The Faraway Tree novels. That I loved. I have read a lot since but I always feel like I missed out on childhood classics. If it isn’t too weird, would you please be kind enough to suggest books which I should have read as a kid. I am 26 btw.

[IIL] H.P. Lovecraft stories, Dracula, The Wishing Chair, The Enchanted Wood/Magic Faraway Tree, etc [WEWIL]?

I just love peculiar stories. Anyone have any suggestions? (No Stephen King. I don't like his work).

[TOMT][STORY] The Magic Faraway Tree but from the perspective of the mother

A few years ago I read a hilarious fan fiction/parody of The Magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton, written from the perspective of the mother. It was about how much she disliked the new house, and her confusion as her children got weirder and weirder.

I'm trying to show my friend but I've lost the link! Anyone have any ideas?

I'm updating "The Magic Faraway Tree". Any particular lands I should include to bring it bang up to date?

I know that golliwogs aren't getting into this print, but can the dwarves and all the little people stay?

Food from The Magical Faraway Tree series

Enid Blyton's beloved magical faraway tree series has so much weird and wonderful food in it. It sounds incredible.

I'd love to see Babish's take on foods like Pop cakes, toffee shocks, and Google buns.

Not to mention basics like Bessie's lemonade, onion soup (that the Angry Pixie drenched Joe with), Moonface's toffee, or even Mother's strawberry jam.
